I do ... often ... I figure someone has to win. I'll go along for a while entering, then slap myself on the forehead in a "stop it!" sorta way. Give it up for a little bit and then go right back to it. I don't always purchase, almost never in fact, but sometimes.
I don't know if it's real or not ... who are these people that win? are they real?
-
I have asked myself that too! I was doing Publishers Clearing House for a while, but I was getting too many misleading emails everyday and I eventually got bored with it. But I did look at the winners on their website one day, all of them seemed to already have large, nice houses. I didn't see one where they went into the ghetto, or even to an apartment to award a prize.
-
i have been doing them for about 15 years now but i never have won anything from them
-
Yes I fill them out even had a dream one year that the Prize Patrol came to my house.
-
My Father did it till the day he passed. Funny I think I will win also after all the years he participated in this. For over 30 yrs my dad did not win and he was faithful to this. Good Luck. :D
:D

I sometimes to PCH. There was a lady that lived in my area who won this last year, so I know this is true, but sometimes I don't have time to do this. I think there are too many things in that package that are unneccessary.
-
They're a waste of time. You're better served making money on sites like FusionCash!
-
It is a waste of time, all they do is use your email to send you junk offers that you have to keep unsubscribing to. Keep dreaming about the Prize Patrol coming to your house, if they do it will be for directions ;D
-
I used to work in a junk mail warehouse in Florida, most of the winners are already predetermined. It's just away for companies to lead you on to get info from you to send you lame offers. :bad:
-
yes but never purchase anything
-
No. I think it's a waste of time and a way for companies to send you junk offers.
-
I do it as well. The sweepstakes have changed. I go in and do the games. At 55, it helps to keep my brain sharp. I have never won, but you don't win if you don't try.
-
I was doing it for awhile then stopped tired of getting the same letters your number is waiting for you send all the stuff back and never get nothing I believe that you do have to buy something in order to win. :rainbow:
-
I dont, Ive heard that you have to buy something to even be able to qualify, I dont know if thats true or not
-
i have done publishing clearing house awhile back and got nothing then i looked them and found out that it is a scam.they say there is no purchase neccessary to buy,and have a chance of winnig but keep sending you lots of junk.
-
I did it last year...then gave it up because it was getting annoying. :sad1:
-
I did it the other day but it took a long time to get thru everything and I didn't buy anything although there are a couple of things on there that looked good.
-
The odds of winning are so slim that I never really considered entering the contest. However, sometimes I have taken a chance on other contests with lesser prizes, and a couple of times, I've even won.
-
Fjaz1, I'm curious, how do they predetermine the winners? Are the winners aware that they are coming to award the prizes?
-
No, I have never do the Publishers Clearing House entries. Thank You!
-
In my research, I found that it is NOT a scam. The reason I quit registering is that I never win anything anyway, and I know I wouldn't win with them. It's a waste of time for me. I kept getting letters and emails from them practically every day when I did register, and I got tired of that.
-
I fill these out ever once in a while. Now it is nice since you can fill these entries online instead of in the mail.
-
I used to complete entries for Publishers Clearing House but haven't completed any in quite sometime. I always end up receiving too many emails from them after entering the sweepstakes.
-
I just did one of this a few days ago. Hope there is a chance to win, but usally don't. Wish I could so I could go and retire again for a second time. Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe. :) :)
-
I have never done it. Don't see how it's possible to even win!
-
I have done but, I think to win the big stuff you have to purchase alot of stuff. I have never heard of anyone winning without the purchasing of items.
-
Yes, I do! I know its futile but I just can't help it! If there's a contest of any type I'm gonna enter; I've always been that way. lol
-
It has become so publicized - I don't want my name connected with it.
-
I did for about a year or two but got fed up...too time consuming for the odds. Good luck to you though.
-
Yes, I've entered, but I haven't won anything yet.
-
No, I think it is a big waste of time.
-
brings me back to when I was a kid. I don't why but I use to get excited when I saw those flyers in the mail and bug my mom to fill them out. I rarely do them now that I am grown.
-
I have participated in PCH a few times but I really think I do better here at FC than I could ever do with them. By the time you figure all that mess out that is inclosed in the package the contest would be over anyway.
-
Um you guys need to think about how many people are probably putting in there entrys for publishers. Litterally 100's of 1000's every day. So not many will win it. It's like a huge lottery that's the luck of the draw bit time but nice thing about this you don't have to put out a dime to play. The chances of winning are not in your favor
-
Eh, I do them now and then.
-
I do a few, but not as much as I use to. In the beginning, I even brought a few subscriptions and other stuff I don't need. Now, I think it's all a big scam and have to think about wasting my time.
-
I do but I like there games. At least you get to play but winning a prize is impossible
-
I have been trying to win something for over 10 years. I know it is a habit I have, but I do not want to stop. Maybe one day I will win.
-
I sometimes to PCH. There was a lady that lived in my area who won this last year, so I know this is true, but sometimes I don't have time to do this. I think there are too many things in that package that are unneccessary.
That's great that you actually know of someone who won. And I agree, seems like a waste of paper that they put in the envelope ... tooo much. But I'll probably continue doing it. I don't order often and it only costs a stamp so, I'll probably continue. It's nice to read others thoughts on this!
Thanks!!

I signed up for this but to be honest I haven't participated because some of the emails sound somewhat threatening. Surely it is my choice not to open the emails if I chose, but the heading are quite forceful and unfriendly. So I've decided not to participate. Eventually I will dis-email myself.
-
i have been doing them for about 15 years now but i never have won anything from them
i've done Publishers since the 70s and did buy a lot of mags from them, but never won a penny. I gave up on them about 10 years ago after I read the fine print (which you need a magnifying glass to see), but last year entered again. I got disgusted because of the every day emails warning me if I didn't enter, blah, blah, blah, so I unsubscribed every time I received an email. This year, didn't try at all even though I've gotte4n emails from them. They ARE a real pain.
-
I'll do it every now and then, but there are so many offers to get past to get to the end - I skip past all of them, but it is tedious. Then I will keep getting emails from them, so after awhile I unsubscribe. But at some point I start up again!
-
Once in a great while I will go through the tedious entry process, usually to get points on a GPT site (like FusionCash).
-
I receive it quite regularly in the papers but like you I've never signed up for it.
