Title: Juicing recipes
Post by: melodylogan45 on May 03, 2014, 12:46:16 pm
I have started juicing again and I am trying to find simple juicing
Recipes; so far I have combined blue berries, flaxseed, apple, carrot &
spinach.

Today, I am going to try blue berries, spinach and pear.

What easy recipes have you tried?

I have a lot juicing recipes,I love juicing its delicious especially when its hot weather but the thing I don't like is cleaning the juicer every time you use it so much work.

I wish I could juice but our blender is nasty. Also, I found that buying juice from the store is cheaper than juicing.

I have tried pretty much everything.  I just recommend staying away from avocados!!!  What a mess.  I always make sure carrots are in the mix though.

One of my favorite fresh juice recipes is a bunch of kale, one lemon and 3 apples.  It even makes me look younger if I drink it consistently.

the Kale lemon and apples sounds good.  I would love to be able to afford to juice.

I just have a regular blender and a lot of the time my laziness about cleaning it after every use keeps me from making smoothies, haha.

I'm still a little confused about the debate on whether juicers or blenders are better---what is your guys' opinion? So far I haven't ventured far from just mixing strawberries, bananas and almond milk, or just pineapple with a bunch of ice. I loooove a cool refreshing drink!

I too only have a blender.  However I did do a product test on a vita-mix several months ago.... it was a complete disaster.  I do like adding avocado's to my smoothies.  But like the one person said, that could be a mess in a juicer.  I wouldn't know where to begin with juicing.  Good luck!

I have a Nutri Bullet,,,  the 900 series.  it is the best thing I ever bought.  well worth the money.  I can do smoothies and juices.
I always add spinach and kale to almost everything,,,,  today I had: spinach, kale, blueberries, banana, flax seed and strawberries.

great tasting  :)

I wanted to try juicing but it just seems so expensive and a lot of trouble.

It's good to know all the juicing recipes here. My neighbor gave me a juicer on christmas and haven't tried it yet.
