I had brunch for my mom, my sis and my son and his family.  Then my grandkids helped organize my basement as we are preparing to sell our house..... it was a GREAT day!

Visited family and worked in the garden.  I should have visited family more and gardened less because today I can't move.

My mom passed away several years ago.  Yesterday, my husband and I went to my sister's house and joined their cookout.  Most of her children were there.  I really enjoyed seeing them, some of which I haven't seen for a while.  The kids are getting so big!!  We thought about our beloved mother and Granny.

I have two daughters. One is in Taiwan on business and the other is home sick with the shingles virus. So neither could visit me. But they sent nice cards and gifts and also phoned, which was very nice. My hubby made me dinner too.
Overall, it was a very lovely day.

My sisters, brother and I spent time with my Mom today.  There were lots of flowers, candies, and cake.  Later on in the day, my children took me out to eat dinner.  All in all, it was a very nice day.

Spent a great day with three of my four children, my husband, and two of my five grandchildren. Had brunch and spent the day talking and laughing. A wonderful day.

Sadly didn't do anything.  My one daughter spent the day with her husband and son, my other daughter is away in college.  They both called Sunday.  My husband and I spent the day working in the yard and putting hamburgers on the grill.

eat in japanes buffet.
this year, mother's day is the same day with my eldest birthday, we feel so happy :)

I went to church. Then I took my wife to a restaurant. I came home then fell asleep.

I had a nice relaxing day.  Went to church, then watched some reruns on tv.  Make connection with my kids and took it easy.  The weather was beautiful too.

All of my family visited my mom on Mother's Day.  Each sibling took a covered dish and we had a wonderful time.  :)

I spent most of the day alone; however, it was wonderful.  I walked across the street to a diner and had a nice steak for dinner.

My oldest son sent me something called an Edible Arrangement.  It's like flowers; however, it's made out of fruit like cantaloupe, honey dew melon, grapes, heart shaped pineapple, strawberries and chocolate covered strawberries and pineapple.  It was both; creative and yummy.

I went to church with my family, then my daughter made brunch. It was beautiful out so we went for a walk on the boardwalk and a bit down by the water ( though water is still cold). Wine, salad and pizza for dinner, ice cream for dessert, and then I received some lovely presents. A great day!

Me and my husband went my mother in law house. we had a great time, we went to a farm and strawberry picking.

We went to church, did some shopping and then I spent the rest of the day home with my husband and kids.  Perfect Mother's Day to me.

We actually did stuff the day before because on Mother's Day we were supposed to get hit with snow. Which we did. My mom and I are working on a garden for our backyard so we went to Lowe's and got some fencing and flowers.

We have parents in assisted living now so we brought food and all met there to spend the afternoon with them.

My Mother's Day started on Friday.

My 2 adult girls drove 6 hours round trip to go pick up MY Mom and bring her to our house as a surprise to me!

Friday night we attended the High School choir concert together so Mom got to see/hear her 2 great-granddaughters sing.

Saturday, we traveled to see our youngest daughter graduate from College...so Mom got to see one of her youngest grandchildren graduate from college.

Saturday we had a meal together back at our house and spent the day together.

At bedtime, the phone rings and my sister back in Iowa tells us that they have my Dad in the ER at the hospital and he would be needing surgery.......so Mom and I got our clothes back on  headed to Iowa.

(Dad's surgery went well.  He came home last night from the hospital)

My family and I went to church.  My hubby was in a major hurry to take me out to get something to eat (he had to clean up the church and I had to do the books as well as have something printed for the pastor), but I got pissed because he decided to buy a bucket of chicken from Popeye's instead of taking me to my Chinese restaurant.  Since he paid for it, I let it go. :( ;D :thumbsup: :rainbow: :rose:
