Which of these two choices applies to you?
-
We use both landline and cell phone.
-
We have both cell and land line (bundle with internet)
-
I'm a cell person. No need for land line any longer. Altho, without a land line we don't get movies on our satellite tv provider. Stupid huh? I guess it's the only way they can send it or something. We don't have a "smart" tv ...
-
There is absolutely no way I would ever give up my landline phone no matter how good and reliable the cell service was in my area (which it isn't). I have two relatives that work for a major phone company and both have stressed to me time and time again to never give up my landline. Even before they started working for that company removing my landline in favor of a cell phone was something I wouldn't have done.
I get my phone, internet and television all from my local phone company and get a pretty great deal on it and am pleased with the service. :)
-
We have both cell and landline, I need the landline as my security service is hooked up through it.
-
We just use cells now. I don't think we've had a land line since 2002? Somewhere around there.
-
I still have a landline phone because I am in a triple bundle with centurylink. I am planning on moving soon and I think when I move, I will only have my cell phone.
-
I have had a land line with the same number for over 40 years,,,, will not give it up unless I have too. Also have a cell phone i use for long distance calls
-
:)We have a landline, and probably always will.
-
I have both, but I use the landline for most of my calls.
-
We no longer have a landline. We have cell phones and I use Skype.
-
Cellphones only. We did away with our home phone about 10 years ago. I got tired of answering telemarketing calls and if it wasn't a telemarketer, it was a call for my husband.

We still have our landline, but we are seriously thinking of dumping it. Nobody calls except telemarketers. That's it. I have family out of state and I use my cell to call them. My husband uses his cell for work and personal calls.
-
We just have cell phones.
-
I used to have both a landline and cell phone but had my landline disconnected several months ago as it had become rather expensive.
-
We no longer have a landline. I liked having it because I preferred making calls from that whenever I was at home, but it didn't make sense to continue to pay for that when we already had to pay for our cell phones.
-
I still have a land line - for business and fax purposes. I also have a cell phone but not a smart phone. A little old fashion I know :P
-
We just have cellphones.
-
I have not had a landline phone in 12 years. I barely use my phone as it is, I rarely use for talking or texting... just have in case of emergency I guess.
-
We have a both. We only pay 10 bucks for each so it is not really a big bill.
-
Currently we have both, but when I'm on my own, I will probably just have a cellphone. Haven't really thought that much about it though so who knows.
-
I have used a landline telephone all my life. I've never had a cell phone. I will continue to use a landline for as long as they are in existence.
-
I have a landline and a cell phone. My landline is part of a bundle from my cable company and I use that one most of the time when I'm home. When I'm not home I use the cell.
-
I use both because some people you just dont want having a direct to you so they get the cell number instead of the actual house number. To me it's a like a safety feature
-
I have a land line and a cell phone too. But I don't need a house phone but it don't cost much so I keep it. Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe. :)
-
We still have both, we have thought about getting rid of the landline but we havnen't so far. When we have a hurricane the landline will work but not the cell phones so we may just keep it.
-
I did away with my lanolin phone years ago. I use my cellphone for everything now.
-
I had a landline phone for at least 4 years. The weird thing is that AT&T installed it and I experienced problems as it operated (it would go silent to the point where I could get no dial tone, especially when it rained). I also experienced bouts where people would call and not say anything. I then had it discontinued and all of us (my brother in-law, hubby and me) have cellphones now. My hubby and I have cellphones by StraightTalk, while my brother in-law's cellphone is serviced by Verizon. ??? ??? ??? :rainbow: :rose:
-
I also use both my landline and cell phone
-
We still have both. Our internet come in on the landline.
-
We did away with our landline many, many years ago.
-
We havent had a land line in over 10 yrs. we never used it and it was just a wasted expense so we ditched it and have never been happier.
-
I use landline and cell phone because I live in the middle of no where and most the time we can't get a signal and I have to have a way to call out in case of am emergency.
-
We still have a land line and cell phone. Not a :-Xphone though
-
I have a landline and a cell phone. I have caller ID on my landline so I find that useful for when sales people keep bothering me. I have my cell phone for all my important calls (childrens schools, husband's work etc). My landline is also useful for cheap international calls to the united kingdom where my family lives.
-
I have a landline phone that i do not use and a cell. I am going to get rid of the landline since my special with at&t
Is almost over.
-
Which of these two choices applies to you?
i have used cell phoone for years now
-
Now just how would I find my cell phone if I didn't have a landline. ???
Besides, I think there may be a conspiracy afoot in having everyone abandon their cell phones.
:fish:
-
i have a landline for home and a cell phone for both work/home
-
cellphone is enough for me, no need for a landline
-
We have both, but I do not answer the house phone unless it's my grandma calling... sometimes! haha
-
we have both. the phone and internet service is one in the same so we use our cellphones as computers basically. use the wifi in the home and turn the data off.
-
we use both in my house
-
I have a landline. I'm out in the country and although I have great cell service I wouldn't want to ever take that chance.
-
A land line but will probably switch to a cell soon
-
I drop my landline telephone, since we have absolutely no need for it (since my family only uses cell phones)
-
I my household we have both a landline and cell phones but generally everyone in the house just uses their cell phones. We keep the landline because we have had it forever and in case of emergencies we believe that it is a good thing to have.
-
cell phone is enough for my family use, so ,no ,we don't waste money on landline
-
still have a land line, rarely use it and the only reason I keep it is that it will probably still function if and when the cellular system crashes.
-
I have both, use my cell primarily when I am away from home, but seldom in the house, we have our landline/internet bundled and also the alarm system is on the landline, no plans to get rid of it.
-
I only use my cell phone. Havent had a landline for about 9 years
-
I have both land line and mobile phones in my household.
-
I have both one for long distance calls and one on the move so both comes in handy.
-
I have one land line and two cell phones. I use the land line for local calls and 1-800 phone calls. If I had to choose land line or cell phones I think I'd stick with the land line and buy minutes for long distance calls.
-
Cell only....too much of a hassle/cost to use a landline...and I don't really need it...
-
Good morning,
I have a physical disability. For that reason, we still have a landline telephone. The landline telephone is easiest for me to use. Have a wonderful day!
-
We have a land line and cell phones. I'm not really obsessed with being constantly available by cell phone, but we have them for travel and work.
-
I still have a landline, I stay home most of the time anyway and it is cheaper than a cellphone.
-
I have both
-
I have a Landline and Cell phone in my home. I have 2 lines and 1 line is dedicated to my PC. Have been thinking of getting rid of it because of the cost.
-
I have both but the landline is only because I work out of my house and need it for the fax machine.
-
We have the optimum package.Telephone, cable tv & internet.Decent deal with 3 hook-ups.I actually stopped paying my cell phone bill last 2 months cos i dont use it and NOT a texter.
Would like to have one for $10 a month just for emergencys.
-
We have both. I really only use my cell phone if I am away. I only have a basic one too.
-
We have both cell phones and landlines in our household.
-
I always have a landline in case of an emergency and I will always have one. A landline phone will always work even when the power goes out and it's the only reliable way 911 can know where you are in case of an emergency.
-
we have both. while we love our cell phones, my 77 yr old mother lives with us and she just cant give up the landline lol. she says it makes her more secure feeling knowing that she doesnt have to worry about forgetting to charge a battery.
-
I have both, use the cell phone more, but I still have the landline because my husband's and my family lives overseas and it is easier for them to call the landlne than the cell phones, plus I have teenagers and the landline comes very handy for messages left by the school, so I can let them hear them since they do not have the code to retrieve them
-
I need both a landline and a cell phone. I used to use my landline for dsl service. Today it's used mostly as a fax line and occasionally to dial my cell phone when I've lost it.
-
We have both, only because our home security system must have the land line, otherwise we would most likely do away with that one.
-
We don't have a house phone. Gave that up years ago and don't regret it one bit lol.
-
I've got both. A lot of storms come through where I live and having both a landline and cell phone gives me two ways to communicate if one way fails. Most people I know only have a cell phone though.
-
I have both landline and a cell........... :peace:
-
We do not have landline phones anymore. I think we have not had a landline in about 3 or 4 years now. So, we just use our cell phones.
-
At the moment, only cellphones, but lately I've been thinking of having a landline again. The price isn't too bad, and what if its something we will need again.
-
I don't have a landline and don't personally understand why people still do. Some say it is in case of emergencies. You could get an extra cell phone to keep at the house for cheaper than a landline. But to each their own.
-
Yes we still have a landline telephone. I was going to get rid of it but I don't give my cell phone number out to everyone.
-
We have both a landline and our cell phones. But our landline hardly ever rings lol.
-
still have a landline phone
-
I turned my land line off a long time ago. Probably 4 years. The last 6 or so months I had it I kept it switched to my cell phone. The only calls to it were from a telemarketer. With a cell I can keep my phone with me all the time and I could not afford to keep both.
-
I still use a traditional landline and also have a cell phone
-
Still need and use both cell phones and landline
-
I have both, I think it's important to have a land line.....
-
We moved and ditched the landline and am now only using a cell phone... my hubby uses it more until he gets one from his new employer on Monday...
