Title: challenges in communication

Do you and your parents have different preferences?

You like to call them on the phone; they would rather use email [don't like to use the phone].
They remember that last thing you said years ago and never asked you if that situation changed.

I hate people who claim they can remember something I said 10 years ago.  I can't remember what I said 10 minutes ago.  As for communicating I would rather use email or live chat because the more I talk to people and the more I deal with people the more I hate people and do not want anything to do with interaction with others.

My parents would rather see me in person than anything else, and they are generally happy to communicate with me in any form.
