Title: Inappropriate content in Videos
Post by: daeth2 on May 28, 2014, 10:32:51 am
I noticed that the 1/2c videos today contained many swears.  Normally I dont mind as I am an adult, but today I had my son with me, and he started repeating the swears heard in the music videos.

I think you're able to turn the sound off on the videos.  Look for the "speaker" and turn down the sound.

I agree some of the 1/2 cent videos are ridiculous and the length of time to watch just to earn 1/2 cent isn't worth would you have to put up with hearing.

I agree.  Often these are the music videos where anything goes, I guess.  I also think it is inappropriate, so when I am doing these, I just leave the sound off.

I don't even bother with the 1/2 cent videos anymore. Some time back they weren't crediting and there were A LOT that were ridiculously lengthy. So, I just keep them turned off.

I don't do the 1/2 cent videos as they aren't really worth the time to watch and I always turn the volume down cuz I don't really want to hear the videos

If you see that happen in the video, just mute the sound on the video so you don't have to hear it.

:o Wow!! That's really bad. I agree, turn  the sound off if you can. I haven't watched the 1/2 cent videos in quite awhile. I like the 1 cent, and the 3 cent videos. Try those if you get them.

Some of the 1/2 cent videos have adult content, so be careful when you have a child in the room.

I don't usually do the 1/2 cent videos ... too long for the amt.  I understand about having your son with you.  Urg, what a drag.  Kids are so impressionable.  I rarely have my sound on, only when the video has some visual appeal to me.

I usually just turn of the speakers, while the videos play, so I do not offend nobody around.

If the words are that offensive, mute the sound.  As if offing 1/2 cent isn't offensive enough! ::)(lol)

I usually keep my speaker volume at 0 so I have to turn it up for something I want to hear.  There are just so many sites with either autoplay videos or annoying background music.  That for me this became the easiest way to function!

You can turn off the speaker on your computer. I don't listen to videos sometimes.

My sound is always off because of the random things that can happen on the internet. Take this as a learning experience.

I do end up muting the videos when I find swears, but that doesnt help that little ears hear things and repeat them :P

I Always Keep The Volume Low Unless It Is A Movie Trailer. Most Of The Time There Is Foul Language In Them

Sometimes it's not just the verbiage that's offensive....had a music video a couple of days ago that I thought was a little on the vulgar side. Too bad the videos don't have ratings (G, PG, R)!!

That is definitely inappropriate to listen to, and the payout is not all that great.

The 1/2c videos have not credited me in months. I typically watch without sound as well.

I agree that it would be nice if the the videos had ratings!  My kids are all grown so it's not an issue for me but I can certainly sympathize with parents of young children.

Yeah, the best option is to keep your volume down low.

Well, I think that Fusion Cash needs to limit the videos with inappropriate content like curse words.

I don't have kids in the house either, I just don't care for the inappropriate stuff these days. It's no wonder our kids and society are all messed up....watching this stuff!!

I turn my speakers off and I find that the half cent are way to long and I didn't get credit for them either...
