I like more Vegetables garden than flower. I like to see flower but I like to eat vegetables from my own garden.
-
Since I can't grow a garden out back because of my dog nor out front because people would come in the yard and take I have to go with a flower garden. I would love to be able to grow my own tomatoes though and maybe some strawberries.

I have a great vegiee garden but its been some bad summers and very hard to keep going.
-
I like a flower garden in my yard. Thank You!

I do both. I eat the flowers I plant. I also am finding out that some of the veggies like beats the whole plant is edible. So no need to plant lettuce.
-
I actually love both equally but really can't have either right now so it doesn't much matter. When i have the money to put a fence across the front of my yard I wanted my sons to plant rose bushes or something flowering along it. The back of my yard is too mushy to plant a garden so I thought about veggie plants on the deck but the deck is falling in so have to have money to fix it first so I can at least have tomato and peppers.

I have one garden and the veg's is with the flowers seems okay.
-
I'm not a gardener - but love to see flower gardens.

I like flowers out front, my vegetable garden in back. I also grow gourds to be dried and painted. I had not planned on grow any this season, but bless my neighbors heart he bought me some while he was on a trip. So felt like I should plant them. Not all of the seeds but a few then if I like I will plant some again next year. I freeze the seeds I don't use.

I enjoy both. I love flowers and I like fresh and organic veggies.
-
I would love to have a vegetable garden but I can't plant anything in the back yard because I have a pop bellied pig back there. I am sure she would think I love her very much with non stop food.
-
I would prefer a Flower Garden. I love flowers, besides flowers are easier to take care of in the long run.
-
I would prefer a vegetable garden where I could grow my own vegetables (tomatoes, watermelons, green beans, etc.). My grandmother had a vegetable garden and grew most of her vegetables. I just don't have the green thumb she had.   :rainbow: :rose:

I like to have both, the flowers lift my spirits in a different way than fresh vegetables do. But I really enjoy being able to grow my own vegetables and prepare them. Nothing tastes as good as something from the garden.

I'd love to have a veggie garden..but I have a bit of what you'd call a black thumb. Every plant I've ever had died :( ... My mother in law even gave up on me with plants after I killed a cactus that she swore no one could kill lol!

:clover: I love to plant both veggie and flower gardens. I don't have room right now, but I do have a Shamrock plant growing real good in the bathroom.
-
I love both veggies and flowers, so my garden is usually a mixture of both.
-
I like both. Fruits even more
-
I have flower pots around the house and a vegetable garden in the back yard. We grow tomatoes and peppers.
-
both i grow veggies and flowers!!!!!!!!!!! :rose:

I like both. I have both. I am praying hard for rain. I am having to water my veggie garden and my flowers. My vegetables are dying. Even with me watering every couple of days.
-
have both so I like them equally
-
My mom has a flower garden. I love flower gardens. Flower gardens are so beautiful.

We have a vegetable garden with flowers in the center and surrounding the veggies. My grandfather told me many years ago that the flowers will draw the bees to the veggies and you will have more veggies. I have found it is so true. We plant three plants of cucumbers and once they have started we will average 3 to 5 a day throughout the season. the same with the tomatoes, eggplant, squash and green peppers. I just love fresh veggies.

I love both but in my yard I love flowers they help me relax by looking at them.
-
vegetable garden
-
I like both, the veggies feed my body and the flowers feed my soul... both are important...
-
Veggies :) While I love flowers, its so much work, having to weed etc. My veggies I grow in containers, less work
But I have both gardens
-
The pests on veggies that show up to eat are too gross...I'll continue to buy the small amount that I consume

I keep a small backyard garden with veggies and sunflowers. I love the fresh produce and roast the sunflower seeds. Yum, can't wait 'til they start producing. In fact I think the first squash blossom bloomed today. ;D: :clover:

I like both. I do not have one this year though. My husband died on Feb and I have moved from our place and am in the process of selling our property. I do miss going out and picking my salad and watching all my flowers bloom.

Can't plant flowers or vegetables due to the rabbits in the area, but I like growing herbs on my patio.

you can grow anything indoors even tropical plants & even fruit trees theres techniques to do so. (alot of techniques you can find online just google a question and you'll get your answer with research)

I would like a vege garden then flowers because you can eat out of a vege garden.

Personally I'm more a fan of veggie over flower. Flower gardens are nice to look at, but veggie gardens give me food for the winter. Had my first veggie garden last year and it did pretty good. Trying to expand it this year. Been a little harder this summer as the weather has been so cool - plants are not growing very fast, plus had a delay in getting some extra garden fence and the bunnies got at some of the plants. :(
