We tend to go to good will. Our county's schools are all on uniforms so it is a lot easier to get shirts and pants for hardly anything. Specially since my youngest shoots up a good couple inches a year it seems. Problem is she is very leggy and only weighs 84 pounds at almost 12 so everything is bought in a size to big for her waist just so we can have the length.

I absolutely LOVE thrift stores. They are like a treasure hunt for me. You can find some really great stuff if you are willing to spend time browsing.

I love shopping at thrift stores. You can really get some great deals, and you get the thrill of exploration. You never know what you're going to find there. I generally go to Goodwill or the Salvation Army.

I love thrift stores! My mom and I shop at a thrift store in our area.  Terrific bargains can be found at thrift stores.

There are several thrift stores in our town but I have all the "stuff" I need so I really don't frequent them.  I would probably go to the hospice one though - its big and hospice helped me a lot with my mom.  I may get a bookcase soon and if I do I will try to find a nice used one.

I shop at various thrift stores but the one I've been shopping the most at is one that has just recently opened up in California, San Diego County Area of Pacific Beach Area.  It's called Good Hope Thrift Store and they are a nonprofit all proceeds goes to building homes for the orphans on the streets in India.  They give 50% off on several colors each day and on Wed and Sat all colors are 50% off, Mondays they give 10% off to military and seniors.
They have really nice merchandise.  They are on Pacific Hwy about 1 mile from the Amvets on Pacific Highway in San Diego. 8)

I just go to my local Thrift store to get deals rather then going somewhere else which has the same thing but overprice.

Only once in a great while.  But there are some nice "finds"...still prefer "new" stuff though especially cloths and at end of season in  the big chain or box stores you can get new stuff for a couple of bucks.

I love going into thrift store. You never know what you can find. I typically stay with the larger chains because they make sure to clean everything and wouldn't sell you something that has been recalled or isn't safe. But sometimes, I go into the local mom and pop thrift stores just to see what they have. Thrift stores are a great way to find some really interesting things without cashing out a lot of money.

What area are you in? The area I live in San Diego there is alot of different thrift stores.  You could also do a search on Craig's lists I know there are Thrift stores that advertise their merchandise on there.

I enjoy going to them, like to browse.  And once in a while I will buy something. Have found a few really good items. I have gotten where if I buy an item I get rid of an item. So if I don't have something I want to donate, I don't buy.  Gotta start looking because now I have an urge to go shopping.
