Have you remodeled your house before? Painting, home additions, buying new appliances, etc.
-
Yes, last sumner we had our kitchen completely gutted and remodeled. The beginning of this year we had our 3 bathrooms gutted and remodeled. What a mess while it was being done, but how beautiful now!

Yes, we have. Three years ago, we gutted and remodeled our basement. It looks terrific. During that process, we added a sunroom as well. We often entertain in the sunroom.

I was forced to sort of remodel my basement. Due to weather, water got in my basement last spring so I had to tear out the carpet, baseboards and about 2 feet of drywall. During the repairs to the wall, I redid all the baseboards, put in new carpeting and changed the color of the walls (and improved the electrical outlets which were so not to code after the walls were pulled off - a bit scary...). I had planned to make changes to the basement, just not that soon...

I never have before but we are doing some remolding right now. My Kitchen theme is Sunflowers and I had my walls painted buttercup yellow and my cabinets where like a lime green but a little less brightness. My step day is trying to help and he made me change the color of the walls and cabinets all to a semi-gloss white it does make the kitchen look larger but I still like my colors. They rebuilt the laundry room and a cabinet where the microwave will go and added more counter space where the laundry room was. There are a lot of remodeling still going on that just hasn't got started yet. Once everything is done my sister is going to get a loan to buy my house from my landlord so I can't stay here. Of course I will be paying here for the house she just got better credit than I do and an income.

I have not remodeled as in gutted and totally redone my house. I have made major improvements to rooms individually. I want to remodel my bathroom.
I done a lot of work in my kitchen recently. It needs some finishing touches but I am too worn out to do it. :(

Yes and it was no fun we tore out carpet and laid ceramic tiles

Yes, after I bought it. I put $20,000 in renovations in it and now need to sell to relocate for work reasons and can't even sell it for what i paid for it, much less what I put in it. :(

We have, and it was a pain in the butt. We had some damage after a storm and we fixed the damage and added more too. It was nice once it was finished.

We have done rooms, not the entire house. New carpets, painting and new baseboards. Took down a lot of paneling in one of the bedrooms, then fixed the walls, new carpet and baseboards. They are all a pain when you do them, but are so nice when finished. Oh I have also done a lot of wallpapering, tht was so long ago I need to do something new in those rooms.

We remodeled our kitchen complete with new countertops and cabinets and it cost nearly $20k. In my humble opinion we greatly overpaid for what it was worth.
If I had it to do all over again, I would get several estimates from proven reputable companies before ever going forward with it. Lesson learned the hard way! :'(

I had new replacement windows put in 2 years ago and my light bill went down almost 40%. I had 4 windows that would not close and now I have a lot more money left at the end of the month. Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

Our biggest re-model job was in our first house. We redid the kitchen with new cupboards and counter tops. New flooring. Added a patio window. Paint and wallpaper.
Other than that, we've just done painting, changed carpets.
