What words do you know that get misspelled by a lot of people?

Achieve. RECEIVE and all those other words that have the same letter combos. I am sure I could think of more of those letter rules. Names that sound the same are also misspelled too. Soul or sole?

So many people use text messaging now and apparently they like to use phonetic spelling. They type ARE for OUR and the worst I think is YOUR for You're. Actually, they don't like to type out any contractions and they use WHERE for WE'RE. I don't know why they do this. All I can say is that it's going to make learning to spell and read very confusing for kids when they start to school and have to learn correct spelling.
