Post by: sgluckadoo on June 22, 2014, 03:59:38 pm
Anyone suffer from ocular migraine (vision loss related to migraine)? I am trying to find some helpful solutions for this problem. It is very debilitating when it hits. My visions "goes" and I can be stuck at work (unable to work!), unable to drive home, etc. Would love to hear from anyone with experience.

Oh my! That sounds serious!! I hope you will be ok! I get migranes pretty bad but it does not impair my vision. Please go to the doctor and let us know how you make out. I will say a prayer for you!

My daughter suffers from migraines, when she was pregnant she had quite a few ocular migraines. The doctors gave her a medicine called Fioricet( not sure of the spelling). She took it at the onset of the migraines and it worked great.

My daughter gets migraines, I will get a call and have to go and get her from where ever she is.  They come on so quickly some times that she has just pulled the car over and waited for  one of us to get there.  L us know what the doctor recommends.

I see a neurologist and take several meds, but it doesn't seem to stop the visual stuff, just the headache part.

I wonder why my doc has not mentioned this one. Does it help with the vision part of migraine?

I don't suffer from migraines but I do understand it's awful.  I hope you can find some relief.
