some people like to go through their junk mail and read it even though they know there isn't anything worthwhile or of value in keeping it.
others like to cut down on the amount of junk mail they get in the mail box.

I'm one that threw away all of thoughts mail that I don't need or want. I hate to have bill up of mail around.

I Hardly Get Junk Mail. I Usually Get Junk Email But I Trash That Out
-
Sometimes I get junk mail but not too often. When i do, I quickly look through them and trash the rest.
-
I do not bother to read junk mail unless its 100 % legit from someone I know.

There was a time when junk mail was the only mail I got. I still get a small amount usually from a car lot around here. They send keys in the mail in hopes of winning a car. The grandkids like playing with them. I will tell you though I have never got a winning key. I did get a 5.00 walmart card and on a nother occasion I had a choice between a tripor 2.00 in gold coins. I took the coins, cause I knew I would never make the trip. Some times it pays to read junk mail.

Usually I throw it out, but sometimes I quickly see if there's coupons if I can clip. Too much work though, lol.

My mother takes all our mail that we are not using to work and shreds it. Better safe then sorry if you know what I mean. :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X

We get lots of junk mail but I usually go through it daily and toss 99% of it right away. We get lots of mail order catalogs and charity requests.
-
I do not get a lot of junk mail too often. Sometimes, I will give a quick glance before shredding them, though.

I like junk mail, you never know when you mail receive something u
maybe interested in. One time i reveived a $100.00 gift certificate in the mail
because i always do the surveys from the grocery receipts. :present: ;)

I recycle my junk mail if I can. If not I toss it in the trash as soon as I see it's junk mail
-
I try to toss the junk mail before it gets set down on my desk. I flip through it all just in case a real piece of mail is mixed in, and toss it as I go through. Otherwise it can be a huge pile in a couple of days. Sometimes I will even take a minute if they sed a return envelope and send a note asking to be removed from their mailing list. Sometimes it works. I do that often with junk email, asked to be removed from their mailing list and am now getting a lot less than 6 months ago. I save a draft for the emails, and just copy and paste so that I don't take a lot of time to do it. i

I always read my junk mail. You never know if there could be something interesting in there! I am also signed up with SBKC and I send my mail into them for research purposes and earn Visa Cards. Pretty sweet deal.

I look at my spam mail every once in awhile, since Yahoo flags some legit emails from time to time... I remember I used to fail some of my assignments at my school, because my teacher's email was spam filtered

That is why I bought a shredder. I got so much junk mail that I became sick of it myself. I don't want to be a victim of identity theft, so I shred anything with my name on it.   :rainbow: :rose:

we put our fireplace to use with junk mail, never bother to read it...just open it and burn it. saves on taking trash off
-
i hate junk mail!!!!!!!!!
-
I generally just throw it away, same with emails although I may glance the subject heading to make sure a piece of legit mail did not end up there by mistake, otherwise I delete junk email and throw out snail junk mail.
-
My junk mail ends up in the shredder. This is one of the best things you can do to protect your identity.I never throw a piece of mail straight into the trash if my personal information is readable.I don't mind getting junk mail. It's better than telemarketing calls and way better than door-to-door solicitors.Besides,I'm a postal retiree and all that junk mail keeps my former co-workers gainfully employed.

I do not read junk mail. I just toss it before I even get inside the house. Funny, I got a post card from I think Allstate telling me they need me to call them immediately because my car insurance is up for renewal and they need to go over some things with me. LOL. I do not now nor have I ever had insurance with them. I do not know how they got my name and address. Maybe they send that to everyone and just hope somebody will call and they can switch them and they not realize it.
