I prefer Antenna TV most all of the time because it doesn't go out. But for recording my favorite programs I prefer Cable TV. I don't like Satellite TV because if it storms you loose your signal and the program you want to see. What do you prefer?

We have fiberoptic tv. We love it. We never lose our service during storms.

We have cable and love it. We seldom lose power, but if we do, it's only for a very short time.

I'm on an antennae because I don't want another bill. There's a Tivo that records from antennae, but for now I have a VCR. I'd like cable better if I could pick my channels instead of being forced to take a lot of channels I'm not interested in.

I switched from cable to satellite because cable was getting so expensive. I have been with satellite for several years now and it is also getting very expensive. Also satellite goes out at the drop of a hat.

I prefer antenna because it's FREE for news and local channels along with Netflix for entertainment.

I prefer cable, but because of where I live I have to use satellite.

I no longer have an antenna and cable TV is not available in my area so it's not what I prefer, it's that I have no choice - it's the satellite or nothing.

I prefer satellite TV, for more channels.

Satellite...until it rains a lot outside and you lose the signal.

I know anymore, all paid programs are always playing the same things it gets so boring.

With Antenna TV, you have less channels. Satellite TV is okay until it rains. I prefer Cable TV. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :rainbow: :rose:

Don't know how to answer this one because I rarely turn on a TV! What television I do watch, mostly news programs, I get thru the computer, which is fiber optic feed.

Cable, I've tried satellite, but we loose the signal even during a sprinkle. I love my dvr, I can record something, and catch up on rainy days :)

I prefer Antenna TV because it's a whole lot less expensive and I don't have to worry about it going out. After all, cable is just a lot of money for RE-RUNS!!

I prefer cable, but I have satellite, since it's the only option I have. It's all good until it rains when you're watching your favorite shows.

I prefer satellite over cable. I have had it for a few years and have had really good luck with it.

I use both antenna and cable at the moment. My cable company recently switched to digital so I got indoor HD antennas to get all the network channels and local news while considering dropping cable. I live in a decent sized city and most of the network towers are on my side of town. I was very impressed with the signals I got. Even when we had a lot of severe weather a few weeks back - no issues with the signals. I was very impressed.
I decided to get a cable card networking tuner to use with my cable vs renting the cable company's cable boxes at $9/month (even though they are waiving the rental fee for a year). With this device, I run my cable through my home network and have receivers (like a home built Raspberry Pi) to watch the shows I now record to my laptop (until I save up enough to build a HTPC). I can watch or record up to 3 cable stations with this device, and the cable card is only a $2 rental fee. I have 4 DVRs and 3 TVs - no way I was going to pay for cable boxes for all those - a $2 cable card works just nicely for my needs.
I ruled out satellite as in my area, any time the sky is overcast, the satellite signal gets sketchy. By the previous home owners left a satellite dish on the roof of the house, so if I ever change my mind, I may not have to buy/rent the dish. :D

Anything but Time Warner Cable. We switched from them to DirecTV in March. I called and cancelled my service, turned in my equiptment, made sure my bills were up to date and still almost 6 months later they still sending me bills. I have called numerous times and got the same response which was, "ignore the bills b/c we see you cancelled." Then last wk I get a letter from collections. I will never go back to that cable company.

I prefer cable. I just hate the fact that it has gotten so expensive.

Antenna because its free also can do internet by hotspots & watch cable TV free online (problem is with the hotspots its like the satellite TV very flakey at times but its free).
Its ez to make a homemade antenna just google it lol

I had direct tv till it went up to 100 bucks a month. Then I tried cable and it seemed like they kept finding a reason to raise our bill and the discounts we were getting did not seem like a discount anymore. I have Google chrome-cast with netflix and hulu subscriptions and I have not missed cable not one bit. My son really did not watch cable he watches YouTube minecraft and sonic videos on his Wii. Our tablet is our remote control. When we move at the beg. of next year we will add either a roku or apple tv device. Leaning more towards apple because you can play games from it also.

This is a great question! We have cable and we were just discussing this. We pay about $110 per month for a bundled package of premium cable, internet, and home phone. It is just not worth it any more. There are just too many times that I can "channel surf" over a hundred channels of nothing good on. A whole lot of cable is syndicated reruns that I have seen 8 billion times. There are of course always good new shows, but even with that, cable will take a new episode and run it to death. Cable does have nice features, though like the On Demand or the DVR - but what are they? Just another way of watching those same ones again!

while I do prefer satelite TV cause of the amout of channels and picture clarity...it is a pain that storms overhead mess up the siginal so easy

I like cable because I could see my show anytime. If I miss one I could go to on demand and see it.

Antenna TV is much better than any cable or satellite.

We live in an area where our only option is satellite. It's great TV but very expensive. I wish we could use Antenna TV. We don't watch a lot of TV so that would be perfect for us.

Antenna TV. I don't have to pay anybody and it's good enough for me to watch football on Sundays.
