Title: skinny boxer
Post by: Gerianne on July 18, 2014, 08:39:33 am
my dad told us a story about his childhood I never heard before.
He constructed a boxing ring in the basement of the house he lived in as a boy.
He would invite his friends over and they would have boxing matches.
His friends were slim and trim too. Smoking was popular back in the 1930's.

Save those precious family history stories.  Pass them on.  :highfive:

My mom and dad met in the '30's.  He was an award winning roller-skate dancer who found employment managing the roller rink in her small town.  My brother says dad literally picked her up on the roller rink.  ;)
