Title: Anyone use Virtapay?
Post by: southernhorizons on July 24, 2014, 09:43:52 am
Virtapay is a digital payment processor, like Bitcoin. They've been around for a while, as a venue for buying and selling digital items using their Virtapay dollars, which didn't have any real value. Now they've converted the VP dollars to Virtacoins, which is a digital currency like Bitcoin. I've been a member for a long time, so now I want to access my balance, but I need to download the wallet. This wouldn't be a problem, except that they store all the blockchain info in the wallet, which is 20 gBs of data! I don't want that all on my computer, so I was wondering if there is a way to install the wallet on a 32gb flash drive. Has anyone done this?

Nah... The only cryptocurrency that seems to have ground nowadays is Bitcoin, Litecoin, and maybe Dogecoin

I have seen ads about Virtapay but know little else. I am always skeptical of online payment systems ever since Payza wiped out my account. I doubt even bitcoins will last.

I only use paypal and payquicker so I have no idea.  I have never heard of this company, but so many pop up all the time it is hard to keep up with them all.
