Does anyone have a good idea about all the smartphones and Ipod. I'm mainly looking for one that is durable and works well. Doesn't have to be the best. Please name some features too, thank you.

you have to be pretty smart to use a smart phoneI've got one but it don't want to work for meWhen I try to dial I pushed number one and I get number four at the time off I try to type something it usually comes about different letter then I typed I guess my fingers are too big for the flow. When I try to use speak on the phone to check somebody it gives me some weird thing that I did not say any of. That is very frustrating.

If your phone is going to have to last for more than a year, DON'T get an iPhone 4. That's all I have to say about it.

i can definitely say i DO Not recommend the Sony Xperia

Fair warning: if you're not careful, these things can be lifesucks, haha. By that I mean it can be extremely hard to pull yourself away from them. My father (51 years old) got his first smartphone at the end of May and has been seriously attached to it ever since. A red light while driving? Phone time! lol :)

I bought an used Iphone 4 off ebay and I've had it about a year and a half. But IPhone 4 was around 3 models ago so it would be old anyway
I'm an Apple person so I typically stick with Iphones. I'll probably gettting a 5s as soon as they release the 6 so it'll be cheaper
It depends on what features you really need/ want? Do you plan to actually use everything or just use the basic functions?

The only smartphones I've ever had have all been Iphones. I love them! The only thing I don't like is that the apps I use drain the battery down too quick but I understand that is prob an issue with all smartphones. 2 of my daughters used to love iphones too but now they have some other kind but I don't recall the name of them. They say they'll never go back to the Iphone. Guess just different strokes for different folks lol.

Yeah, I was afraid of apple. I still have the 3gs and it has problems. I hear reviews about the 4 and 5 and am not thrilled. Apple does good computer products, but I feel like their losing it in smartphones. Their are some many smartphones out their now it is hard to figure out the best one. I agree with whoever was above me with the small keyboard and voice choosing wrong and bad words. It's frustrating!!!!!!!!!!! >:(

I have an Iphone 5c and I absolutely love it!! I recently dropped it in water and got it replaced for free. The only bad thing about iphones is apps drain your battery life.

I just want standard features for the most part. But mainly one that works well and that durable and last long.

If you just want a basic cheaper smartphone you might want to look into ones that run Windows. They don't have all the bells and whistles but they can get things done. If you need a little more apps there are plenty of cheap Androids to choose from. It also depends on what carrier you're using. Not all carrier have the same phones available

I have an Iphone 5c and I am very happy with it. It has to be charged at least every other day but other than that, it does everything I want it too. I can ask Siri to wake me up at a certain time and play Words with Friends on it and get emails too. It's a lot of fun.

I have an Android phone, and it has been really great. It's a ZTE Z990. The only thing I don't like is that being a cheap one, it doesn't have much internal memory. I have an extra card inside, but not all apps let you put them on the memory card. But Android has a ton of fun free apps, and I have several that I use to get points for gift cards, etc.

Got a samsung S3 at no cost by commiting for 2 yrs. Works well. Use wifi at home to keep data usage low. Get a cheap cover and screen protectors off amazon for < $5. Well worth it. can use for GPS navigation and as MP3 player.

I have a IPhone, 5C and love it. Never had any problems with it.

I have an Android HTC One I bought used for a hundred bucks and I don't worry about typing, I just tell it what I want to text or add to my notes.

I have an iphone 5. Not a phone fanatic, but I like my phone. I can take pictures and short videos. You can download any apps you like. I have downloaded this free birthday reminder that allows me to send e-cards.
Battery I think Its decent, but then again depends how much you use your phone.

First, I have to say this. My aunt recently told me she got rid of her iphone and got a "smart phone". I cannot make her understand or believe that an iphone IS a smart phone. Smh.
There are several. All I have ever had is the iphone. I really like it. My SIL has an iphone and my brother has an Android. He loves his and hates the iphone. I think the iphone has more apps to download. The ipod is not a phone so if you want to make calls you need an iphone not an ipod.

Not sure what you are looking for in a phone so you would have to be more specific. If you are the type that lives on your phone 24/7 then you should do some research as to your needs. But if it's just for moderate use, then go for something that meet your needs. I have the Huawei 8800 smartphone. It works for me.

I personally think the I-phone is the best but today they have a lot of competition with the "Windows phone". I think that might be worth checking out. Do a little research on the web to see what the differences are and then you will be able to make an informed decision which one is best for you.

Not sure about the current smartphone trend... I usually hear people have the HTC One, Samsung Galaxy, or the Iphone...
