i choose a swiffer mop for sure

I like my steam mop....but sometimes just grab my mop that has cloth heads that I can throw in the wash. I don't know if it is a particular brand, like Swiffer etc. I've had it a long time.
I use multiple cloth heads as I mop...I put on a fresh one as I move along.

I use my swifter

I use the tried and true spaghetti mop. I have tried other mops but I don't get the cleaning power with those other mops. :bad:

we just bought hurricane spin mop and we love it
-
I like my steam mop, but at least once a month I do use an old fashioned mop and bucket! The rest of the time is my steam mop, it does a great job actually.

my relative have suggest hurricane mop is pretty good.
-
Thank u all for your suggestions. That hurricane mop looks like something i can handle. Has the price went
down yet?

i have a fiber head mop that i really like..it's good for the tile floors as well as my wood floors..and can be easily thrown in the wash..
-
use the towel and try to wash it on your knees...You'll be glad you did...You will also know you touch every corner and spot... ;D

Well, years ago you could buy a good COTTON MOP but today it seems you can only get synthetic materials and they just don't do the job. I personally use a sponge type mop.
-
Its pretty sad but i cant remember the last time i mopped my kitchen floor it has to have been over a year ago. but i guess when i do get around to mopping it i just use a plain old mop and bucket.

use old fashioned mop

I prefer a mop, have tried the swifter mops and do not like them. One of these days I am going to yank out this awful flooring and I want linoleum . I can mop and not worry about it. My dad and sister both had laminate and flooring and have to use swifter mops. Well both have had water leaks and the floors buckled bad. Beides to me the weiffter mop just does not feel clean.

I like to use steam mop. Thank You!

I too use my swiffer

My husband bought a new steam mop that you can used both in carpet and wood. It is easy to used and the floor dries so fast. The name is steamfast.

I have a steam mop and use it once in awhile, but I love my Libman mop

I use to get down on my hands and knees to clean my kitchen floor before I bought my Swiffer. Since then, I have religiously stuck to my Swiffer. The cleaning solution smells really fresh and it makes my whole house smell really clean and fresh. It is quite expensive to lay out the original costs for a Swiffer but the ease of using it far outweighs the financial cost. I was so forceful pushing down on my Swiffer the other week that I broke the handle, I was so disappointed.

Old fashion mop my mom doesn't want to get rid of lol

I'm not very pleased with what I have to use on 4 of my floors. We put wood laminates in 1 room and peel and stick in 3 rooms and none of these floors can be mopped the good, old fashioned way. I buy some special stuff that I spray on as I go and use a sponge mop to mop it up. I just never feel the floors are very clean. The rest of my house has the original real wood floors that was put in when the house was built sometime in the 60's. I love those floors and we are fixing to rework them and put several layers of polyuratene (?) on them. Can't wait!! I would never go back to carpet.

I use the wet vac mop which is the best and easiest to use.
-
a sponge, very small kitchen :'(
-
But why do they get dirty in the first place?
-
The mop I have right now sucks. It is one of the old fashioned mops that my husband decided to buy. It doesn't pick up like I'd like it to, so I plan on buying another one.

I like the swifer mops with the container of cleaner attachment. It works pretty good and is not too expensive. To get that deep down clean, you can't discredit the hands and knees with a ragand some disj sopawater. The clean water rinse is the most important.

I use a Swiffer mop for my wood floor areas and a regular mop for my bathrooms. ;)
-
I use a Swifter and to me it works great since I have two dogs that leave a lot of hair on the floors. not to mention when it is raining leave a lot of footprints.
-
I use a mop similar to the swiffer mop. That's what I use for cleaning my house.
-
I mostly have rugs, but in the kitchen and hall I have laminate floors. You are not supposed to get them too wet, so I use a Swiffer.
-
Don''t like any of the ones I tried.
-
I like using the wet Swiffer it seems to work good and gets things nice and shiny

i just wash my floors on my knees

Since I have hardwood floors, I use a steam mop. It is the best mop I have ever owned. It cleans awesome.
-
i use regular mops. they work well and last a long time
-
Honestly, I haven't found a mop that works for me. I have kids and dogs and the floors need to be cleaned often. I have gone back to washing by hand. It just works so much better.
-
mopping floor can be a pain in the but when you dogs, its a everyday job that never stops.

Swifter mops are great for me. Before, I use just vacuum and wipe manually with a towel, but this was back breaking. The only thing it doesn't help is the constant knicks on the floor due to the traffic my floor receives (and poor choice of flooring).
