I hate these ugly IMPOSSIBLE to read captcha's
-
I usually have to refresh once or twice to be able to read them.
-
I've never had that problem, so I'm not sure why you're getting the hard-to-read ones. Maybe try them using a different browser, or like above poster said, just refresh them.

I also just refresh them if I am having difficulty.

I'll get another one if I can't make it out, but usually there is no problem. I use Firefox.

Are you talking about the captchas on radio loyalty? if so then it seems like that would be their problem...I never get a captcha that I can't read..I am using chrome for a browser.... :)
-
I am using a chrome browser, also. I get the most awful Captchas; today I refreshed time and time again until finally I got an error message that I had to do the 2 1/2 minutes all over again. Then I had unreadable Captchas again. Finally, after maybe 50 times, I got one that worked. I am so P........d.

sometimes it is a struggle to finish ptc! And that is FC, and I use chrome. You have just been lucky ludie43.
-
I don't understand how the captchas even generate such an abomination of a captcha. It's absolutely disgusting.
-
I must agree, some have been pretty difficult to read.
-
yeah some captchas are hard to read but i just keep refreshing until it's somewhat legible. once the code goes through, i re-start the program ie. Radioloyalty and hopefully it returns to normal after that. I tried the audio but it's way worse than captcha.
-
I am so, so tired of Captchas.
-
I thought that sometimes you're given an option to hear the captcha or to refresh repeatedly. Is that true or no?
That would certainly make for more opportunities. Right? :-\
-
I have had a really hard time with the captcha's as well. Sometimes I have to refresh as much as 7-8 times to get one I can read.
I tried the speaker -- someone reads it out loud and that is really terrible. I could not understand what the person was saying.
They need to make these easier to read!!! ::)
-
My Captchas keep getting worse and worse. I used to get a break of maybe a month or two between with readable ones, but now they keep going on and on. Sometimes I refresh 50-60 times, and sometimes I just give up.
-
Suddenly they are super hard to decipher. Getting on my nerves having to refresh several times. Wish FC would fix this.
-
I don't think this is FC because I never have a problem reading captchas. Ever. I've used Firefox and Chrome and had no problem with either. I usually get a commercial or just have to type in a phrase and they're always readable. Every now and then I'll get a question and all I have to do is select an answer from a list. Just curious, is anyone using an old, outdated computer? Maybe that might have something to do with it. I'm not sure, just trying to come up with an answer.

I use chrome as well. When I cannot read the captcha, I have hit enter and it is uaually readable.
-
I can hit enter dozens of times and it still comes up with unreadable ones. Sometimes I hit enter or refresh at least a fifty times.

You could try to left- click it on using your mouse. Hold it down and drag the captcha around the lighter or darker parts of the page. Maybe that will help. Also, is your computer old and outdated? I don't know why you can't read them. I hope you figure it out.

i just refreash to get oen to read
-
lately they have been readable. mostly ads though, where you have to click the play button and wait. those 'progressive insurance ' ads are on my last nerve, ugg :monkey:
-
some are really hard to read, but if you refresh two or three times, usually they'll finally put up a clear one. it can be hard on the eyes ifyou have bad eyesight though.
-
I have. i think it is because when you get older it is very hard to see these.
-
It's been a while since I've had an ugly captcha. I actually feel kinda lucky about that.

Would you rather have a hard-to-read captcha? At least the ad ones are simple and easy to read.
-
I have not really had this problem lately. One of the main reason is because I am banned for radioloyity and the daily ones have been readable for quite some time. :-X
-
Can it have anything to do with your internet connection? :pumpkin: :pumpkin:
-
I've had that happen just a few days ago. I have no idea where those scribble marks are coming from. All I did was continue to hit the refresh button on the captcha box until I was able to read it. After a day or 2 of that, things cleared up nicely. If that happens again, just keep refreshing until you get something you can read.

Sometimes the captchas are tough to read. Refreshing solves the problem for me too. Have a great day!
