True it has raised a lot of money and those that I know who did it did have fun. Although I think our kids in Sunday School had more fun watching our Cantor get done then she did in having it done.

I had a friend that did it and threatened to name me as a benefactor. I told him that I am a leader-not a follower. I would not fall prey to a challenge like this unless he could name more than one person who had been afflicted by it. Ummm...well...ummm...Lou Gehrig...everyone is unable to name another after that without going on the internet. I understand the concept but I think that our attention could be focused on something that affects greater percentages of people. Cancer? Starvation? Ebola? I am sure that we could find other causes .

I agree with the fact there are greater issues out there too. How about we focus on those and just ask people to donate instead of putting a bucket of ice, (or whatever else for that matter) over their head!
