I have read an articles today that white potatoes are actually good for diet. Now I`m not sure if I believe this or not because I read lots of articles before that it is not good.

I heard White potatoes are low in sugar content... The only thing bad I heard about potatoes in general are the carbs

I guess in moderation that would be okay, but remember potatoes are a starch that turns to sugar. Sweet potatoes are better for you.

Sweet potatoes are better for a person. The new potatoes have a lot of sugar and then as they age it turns to starch. But as my doctor tells me moderation, moderation. I don't order French fries anymore because of having to watch what I eat, I snag about 5 off hub's plate and it is just about right for me now. I am pre-diabetic and trying hard to not go any further.
