Post by: lvstephanie on September 04, 2014, 11:42:23 am: I've got a few, but there's only one that I really like -- Pixel Dungeon. It is a Roguelike game (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roguelike (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roguelike) for an explanation) so the games are usually only a few minutes in length, which is just enough time when I don't have much time to waste like waiting in line, etc. And because each game is new in terms of the dungeon layout, the magic items, etc. it has endless replayability. I've also tried WazHack (another Roguelike, but with more variables than Pixel Dungeon) but as that is structured more like a platform game (where you go in a straight line on each level) I didn't like it as much. Also it seemed too random in that you could find some unique piece of equipment on the very first level whereas PD has certain rules when generating items so that you tend to find more powerful equipment the further along you are in the game. I also saw that there are some "classic" PC games that have been ported over, like I have Bard's Tale on my tablet.

Post by: cathy37 on September 04, 2014, 05:21:51 pm: The only games I have on my smartphone now is Solitare and Word Search. I use to have Candy Crush, but would rather play on computer. I also use to have Subway Surfer, but it got boring.

Both are time fillers for me when I am waiting for others; or I like to play them at end of day just to unwind.

Post by: southernhorizons on September 12, 2014, 08:59:02 am: Jewel Star 2! I had Jewel Star 1, but I completed all the levels so I uninstalled it and got #2. That's really the only game I like playing. I do have a couple solitaire packs too, but the screen is mall, so I don't really like playing solitaire on the phone as much as on the computer.
