Do you own any credit cards?
-
Of course. I'm an American. However, I pay mine off each month so as not to accrue any interest charges.
-
Doesn't everyone?
-
Yes.
A bunch. :)
-
I have a couple of them but I never charged them. Maybe once or twice just to keep them active.
-
Yes - I think it would be difficult to function today without a credit card.
-
Yes, I got two for an emergency use only.
-
I don't have credit card i use only debit card. :(
-
I own about 4 or 5. That's too many in my opinion, but once you start getting one, the others start coming too!
-
Nope! Not a single one. :-\
-
Yes, I have a couple.
-
Nope I am afraid of credit cards
-
No No credit cards for me. I do not have good credit due to my husband's death and other issues but I think if you can have a card that earns you points and can pay it off every month then that is fine. I am ok though just living on what I have money for - it was an adjustment but I am glad now.
-
I don't have any credit cards and don't plan on getting any. With my previous experience in credit cards, I'll just stick to debit or prepaid cards.

I don't own any credit cards.
-
Of course, i own 4 credit cards which I have in case of emergencies
-
I think most people have at least one credit card, it's what you do with it that can get you in trouble. I use to over do with my cards many years ago, but learned my lessons when I couldn't do other things trying to pay them off. I made the money, but it went towards bills.
-
nope, never have had any
-
I have just one card. I spend about 8 months of the year not using it and then inevitably, back to school time comes and I start using it and then I have to use my taxes to pay it off :(
-
I have a few credit cards, but I use them only as extension of my finances to increase my credit. I always try to stay at a minimum while my maximum remains at $250.

My husband and I both have a credit card in our name, then we have signed up the other as an authorized user on one others accounts.
We got his credit card so he could buy a $2,000 bicycle (he is a cyclist) because the company was having a special where there was no interest for 15 months. After the 15 months is up, he won't use his card much anymore.
I got my credit card because I want to keep my credit score up/active. I use it for promotional points (like 2x points at restaurants) and then pay it off as soon as it shows up on my statement (or shortly thereafter).
If I don't have the money in my bank account to buy it...I don't need to use my credit card for it.
(Though I do feel better knowing that if we had an expensive emergency, we have the credit cards to pay for it, even though I know there will be interest if we don't pay it off soon)

Yes Hubby and I have credit cards. Hi and mine and 1 ours. They are paid off and only use one if it we have too. which is not often and it is paid off monthly. It feels great not owing on them. Lots of hard work and they were paid. So much of it was his medical.
-
No, I don't own any credit cards...but I only use pre paid debit cards which I love
-
I am yet to meet anyone who doesn't. I got my first one when I got out of college. Mainly trying to help build credit and also for emergencies.
-
I personally dont, but I think i should, i mean im old enough, but when i buy things from amazon or ebay i use my moms credit cards
-
I have too many credit cards. 3 from one company and 2 from another. I want to combine them onto 2 cards but the one company won't let me and I just have to call the other and I should be able to figure it out with them. Plus I have 2 dept store type cards
-
Yes, more than one, but I mostly use the one that gives me airline points.
-
Yes, one major credit card and then several store cards, ie Kolhs, Sears, etc....
-
As hard as it may be to believe, I have no credit cards, never did, and never will. :)
-
Nope, don't own any credit cards now. Had a few a long time ago, but got into too much trouble, took a long time to get them all paid off.
-
No but I'm going to get some secured cards soon. It's necessary as my credit is abysmal. Unfortunately, my parents didn't teach me much about finances. I thought avoiding credit cards would be a good thing but it's really not.
Paying bills (rent utility) on time keeps your score from dropping but usually doesn't help it rise. Apparently they have to pay a fee to report to credit bureaus so it saves money to only pay this fee when something is wrong. Basically the cards would have been somewhat of a buffer when I was having hard times.
Responsible credit card use and repaying whatever small loans you can get approved for will help rebuild damaged credit over time. I'm going to get maybe 2-4 cards and go from there.
-
Yes, I do own credit cards. I have two credit cards. I always pay my bill early. I have perfect credit.
-
Yes! I also have debit card but I don't use it I only use credit cards all the time.
-

-
Yes, a few but I don't let the balances get too high
-
