What foods do you not like and why?

I am not a big fish eater . The only types of fish I like are tuna and shrimp. Ever other fish I have tried I don't like the smell and or the taste of it. The other 2 foods I really don't like are brussel sprouts and lima beans. With both of these foods it is more the texture and the taste. :rainbow: :rose: :peace: :wave:

There are really only two foods that I have eaten in my lifetime which I could not tolerate. Firstly tripe! The smell of my mum cooking tripe was just disgusting. The other food, which I'm sure is more surprising to most, is English Trifle. I love all the ingredients that go into a trifle, such as jello, sponge, cream, however when they are all put together I just can't swallow the mush. It just keeps going round and round my mouth but it refuses to go down my throat!

I am a picky eater which means there are many foods I don't eat. Examples include vegetables, some fruits, spaghetti, waffle, soup, pancakes, and doughnuts.

I dislike any type of cheese that smells.
Mozzarella,American do not smell so i enjoy them.

Spicy foods! No mouth burning for me!

really really hot spicy foods. is not good for my acid reflex LOL can eat most anything but them spicy foods i really don't not like !!

Mushrooms and spinach. I can not stand those two foods.

I dislike cabbage and goat cheese but I like just about everything else that I have tried.

I don't like bologna because of how it looks and taste.

Boiled okra, because it's slimy. However I do like fried okra.

The older I get the more I dislike artificially flavored things like kids cereal and syrupy juices. Disgusting.

I don't like eggs. I don't like the smell or texture. Have a terrific day!

I don't like fish, spaghetti, chocolate...well sweats all together really. Why you ask? Do I really need to explain my taste buds?

I don't like beets. No way no how. I spent 30 days in a hospital trying to carry a baby closer to term and had beets every day. Yuck. Never ever again. Also do not like most fish except for shrimp, crab, lobster and halibut. Since hubby is allergic to shell fish I only eat it at a restaurant . It is a treat too me.

I don't like the taste of bananas and I don't like maple walnut anything.

Brussels sprouts. UGH!

besides some specific ones like Brussels sprouts, squash, eggplant. I would say real soggy stuff and real hot stuff. I can take a little bit but no more.

Liver. Beets. Turnip Greens. Brussel Sprouts. Not gonna bother with these as long as there are Reeses Peanut Butter Cups and Moose Tracks Ice Cream to be had.

Mushrooms - don't like the taste. I can sometimes eat cooked mushrooms if there aren't too many though.
Fish - don't like the taste OR smell.

there are quite a few..lol...mushrooms,spinach or most anything green..quacamole(yuck),blackeye peas to name just a few..meat is not a big thing with me either..

I can't stand oysters, they don't stay down. I'm not fond of cantaloupe, yuch. I used to hate Brussel Sprouts, but I found a crockpot recipe with dijon mustard which I love. Now I just have to remember to get them from time to time. LOL.

There are two foods that I just cannot stand. Even the smells make my stomach turn. 1) Ranch dressing! (I know, how un-American of me). 2) Pickles!

I don't like taco. I once get food poison after eating a taco at Mexican place and that the last time I try any Mexican food. I don't want it to be racist but my stomach cannot afford any food that upset my stomach and I'm scare to have that feeling again. :)

I don't care for anything that you'd find on a relish tray: pickles, olives, lutefisk (in MN that tends to be a regular item on relish trays), etc. I also don't really care for very bland foods like oatmeal or tofu unless it is cooked with other things to give it flavor. My mom used to be a real health nut when we were growing up and would sometimes give us the worst breakfasts before school, like wheat toast with peanut butter (the real stuff from the health-food store and not the salty kind from a regular grocery store) and tofu. Talk about a dry, tasteless breakfast!

I don't like cilantro...I don't like coconut...and I don't like nuts in food...I may like a couple nuts all alone. good question...have a great day everyone.

Ugh, me neither!!! I don't like collard greens either, and I can't stand olives. They were on my vegetable pizza not too long ago and I couldn't identify them for whatever reason and kept complaining to my sister about these weird-smelling things on my pizza.... and then I just looked at her slowly and we said in unison, "They're olives." Ahh!

I love food. My only exceptions are those foods that are not attractive in real life such as octopus, squid and eel. :P
I might make an exception in the case of grasshoppers since they're kind of cute,
but they would have to be deep-fried. :-\
I actually feel that most Americans would eat anything if it was deep-fried. That includes spare tires and shoe leather.

There are not too many foods I outright dislike - I don't like any fish or shrimp that isn't breaded and fried, I do not like liver and I don't like canned spinach although fresh and frozen is tolerable.

I dislike Chick Peas just can't stand the taste. No matter how they are prepared doesn't make a difference in the taste for me.

I do not like foods that are really full of artificial ingredients. I do not like fake food. I like food that is homemade by others since i do not like my own cooking or cooking much.

I don't like tuna. Kale is disgusting. :bad: Most other foods I can deal with though.

It used to be strictly veggies but as I get older and learn to cook I have been able to over look it. I still hate beetes

I don't cold cuts and beef. Just my stomach cant accept it.

So many... onions would probably be top of the list though.

I am not very picky at all when it comes to foods i pretty much like anything, i try to stay away from to spicy of foods though.

I don't like pot roast onion or anything spicy. I hate having the taste in your mouth for a long time

The only thing I've eaten that I really didn't like was Brussel Sprouts. But I would be open to trying them again if I could just find a better way to flavor them. Some people like them, there must be something to it!

I do not like tripe.

There are lots of foods that I don't like. But I'll keep this short. I don't like seafood. I think it's all gross. I know fish is supposed to be healthy (as long as the fish itself is healthy and not contaminated with anything and not farmed), but I just don't like the taste or the smell of it. I don't like peppers either or onions. If the onion is finely chopped or minced, then I can tolerate it as long as there is not a whole bunch of it. I don't like olives either. They smell really unpleasant, their taste is really gross and their texture is really funky. The green ones are kinda creepy looking too. haha I don't like cauliflower either. It smells weird and I hate the taste of it and the after taste it leaves. Yuck.

I have never liked onions. Something about the texture. The weird thing about it is I will cook with onions, onion salt and powder but I refuse to actually eat an onion.

I hate all kinds of beans (except green string beans)! It must be texture (not to mention the taste!) Refried beans, kidney beans, navy beans, pork-n-beans, GROSS~EVERYONE OF THEM! =)

I dislike a lot of the things that are good for me, but I do try to eat right.
