We have both. We probably use the landline more (we have 7 landline phones), so it just seems easier to grab one rather than the cell. What do you have/use?
-
Just a cell phone, for at least 12 years now.
-
Cell phone for 7 years.
-
Haven't had a landline in years.
-
I had both but cancelled my landline a couple of months ago because of the cost.
-
Because of the sometimes long winter storms in the northeast I still have a landline. Ialso have a prepaid cell phone too :rainbow: :rose: :peace:
-
We don't have a landline only cell phones because we never used it and were just paying for it.
-
Both
-
I keep a landline and one of my phones is corded, in case of a power outage. I also carry a prepaid cell in case of emergencies.
-
Both, Just in case the cell goes down and you have the landline for emergency.
-
i have both but i don't really use my cell phone much i don't know why people are so into all these smartphones why spend the money on something that more then likely they will go back to the regular cell phones i only use my cell phone for emergency's
-
both
-
Only cells for a long time now....works fine.
-
We have both. The landline is one we had for our whole married life, so people know they can always reach us on that. Plus, my husband and I and our children each have cell phones.
-
We have both but the landline never gets used.
-
both, never know when one might not work, i'd rather be safe than sorry, but the land line barely gets used
-
Cell and Landline for us. I like getting all my business and personal calls on my landline during the day. Only personal calls on my cell phone if I'm out and about. :)
-
cell phone and a landline for us but i use the landline phone for all my calls and my cell phone for texting but not while i'am driving.
-
Cell phones only, we haven't had a landline in years.
-
I just use cell phone know landline not worth the price for the amount of phone calls that I get.
-
Cell. not landline. it's cheaper.
-
I did away with my landline some years back. I was being charged double the amount for a basic phone service from Verizon. I have been with AT&T ever since. And I love their service No more land lines for me.
-
We have cell phones. Got rid of the landlines a few years ago.
Seemed like the only calls the landline got was telemarketers so we got rid of it.
-
We have both, the landline is basically for my family overseas, it is cheaper for them to call a landline than a cell, and all the telemarketing and idiots that like to call for nothing will call the landline and get voicemail, no time to fight with them and get to stop, so they call landline and do not get my cell phone to bother us. Anyone that needs to speak to us knows to reach us at cell intead of landline.specially if it is something important or an emergency

I don't have a landline now. I do miss not having to count my minutes. I don't like to use the phone only after 7PM to chat. I will be glad when I get a job and can afford to have a landline again.

We only have cell phones. There are three in our house so one is always charged even though there are five on our plan. My parents have the other two so they can be reached when they go out. Besides they have been having some problems with their land line and calls not even registering when someone calls them.
-
We did away with our landline several years ago. We only use our cellphones now. It seemed like the only calls we got on the landline was telemarketers. Doing away with it eliminated those nuisance calls.
-
We have both a landline and cell phones. We've had the same telephone number on our landline for at least 40 years and have some older relatives that only call the landline. Plus, my cellphone doesn't get good reception in our house for some reason so I don't use it much when I'm home.
-
We have both. We have to have a landline because we have DSL internet which requires it but I wouldn't mind ditching the landline because we get mostly only junk calls on it.
-
Landline only; but thinking of going cellular because of the costs
-
i just have a cell phone, but wish I had a land line.
-
I have both, I use my cell primarily when I am away from home.
-
I only have a landline. I feel no need to own a cell phone right now.
-
I just have a cell phone but my parents still have thier land line which I think is just pointless to have in this day and age. They both have cell phones to.
-
I have both, but only b/c my cable, internet and phone are all bundled together. I wouldn't have a home phone otherwise....
-
I have both. It's just easier since I don't leave my cell on when I'm at home.
-
I have both, but I mainly use the landline.
-
I have both, but I'm really considering cancelling the land line. I rarely use it and like others most of the calls I receive are hang ups and telemarketers.
-
I have both, dont use cell unless Im out of the house, or in case of emergencies when my landline goes out
-
Hello,
we use cell phones in our home why had another bill no days not to many have landlines. Some still do but i use my cell phone for all my calls thanks for sharing this topic.
-
We have both, but I rarely use the land line, in fact, I don't even have the number memorized
-
we still have both I don't have topay for my cell though it is supplied and required by my work
-
We have both, but probably use the cell most of the time.
Advertisers use our land line the most ;D :highfive:
-
Just cell phones in my house.
-
I just have a cell phone
-
Both, We are kinda not ready to give up the land line. We only have very cheap package, just to keep the land line model telephone... :)
-
Have both ... cell phone is for my calls ... Landline forwards to the hubby for our business
-
I have a land line and cell. Both are not very expensive. Hope everyone has a good day.
-
I now just have my cell, along with my husband's and son's. No land line once we moved.
-
I have a landline. I have never had a cell phone and I have no desire for one. Unlike most people, I don't like talking on the phone so I have no need to be connected all the time with a cell phone.
-
I have both, but we rarely ever use the landline. I just keep it in case of emergency with my kids.
-
we both have cell phones no need to have land line anymore
-
We have both when the power is off. We have one for plugging in to the wall. I work mid night and sometime the cell phone are down for about 20 min.
-
Cell phone. My generation doesn't have home phones! There's no need to have a land-line anymore.
-
I have both now, but before this month I only had a land line. My son put time on my prepay cell phone just in case the house phone goes out because our electric goes out frequently with my husband being on Oxygen and my health not to great he was worried. I just got to keep it on which is $35 a month I know to most of you, you might think that isn't much but my husband and I live off of $721 a month between the electric bill and a seperate electric bill for water we be almost $300 a month. So we struggle that is why I am trying to be able to cash out every month here on Fusion Cash but that has not happened as of yet but I keep trying anyways.
-
I have both but have eliminated the long distance option from my landline, which saves some money on the monthly charge and still allows calling toll-free numbers and receiving long distance calls from friends and family.
-
We have both, but everyone usually calls the cell phones before they calls us on the landline
-
i havent had a land line in almost 15 years. way cheaper just having a cell phone especially since i have tracfone and only pay 17.00 a month for minutes on mine and my husbands phones. any unused minutes just get added onto next months love it.
-
We have both and we use both all the time.
-
I have a cell and have not had a landline for 3 years.
My mom still has one at her house, but it is mostly for my grandpa and great grandma.
-
We have both. We mainly use the house line because we live out in the sticks and the reception isn't always great, plus it gives friends and family a constant # to call. Mostly we use the cells for our comings and goings and can be useful if broken down.
-
I only have tracfone. I pay $10/mo and get double minutes every month. I rarely use it and have over 1000 minutes right now. Sure beats paying $50/mo for landline.
-
all members in my home use cell now ,land line is just old history
-
we all have cell phones but we also have landline s our cable company bundled us and we have one few for all
-
I have both....I wanna always have a home phone service......
-
We just have cell phones in the household.
-
We have both, but we hardly use the landline. We have landline because it is bundled with Internet and cable.
-
We have both but I'm seriously considering returning to a VoIP connection, the moment the right sale catches my eyes I'm switching.
-
No cell phone here. I just have a land line. One of my room mates has a cell phone, but someone else pays the bill for it. Cell phones can be a really good thing to have, but they can also be a really bad thing. I have had a cell phone before, but couldn't afford to keep it. Since I don't have a need for one anymore, I don't have one (not that I could afford one right now anyway). Some people are way too dependent on their cell phones, and that can get really annoying. I was never anywhere near being so glued to my phone when I had one.
-
we have a landline and we pay for it but we dont have a working phone to hook up to the line.
-
Just a cell
-
I only have a cell phone!
-
i have both landline and a cell because you can't always depend on one or the other at times
-
no landline here. the last time I had two phones I had two cells. I have a great smart phone...the Samsung Galaxy 3 and I love it sooo much. its my day planner...my game boy...my laptop.
-
I do have a landline phone and not a cell phone
-
We have both but would rather have neither one. Dislike phones...
-
We have both, but generally use the cell when I am out, not in the house; most times cell is not even on in the house.
-
Ony have cell phone..no landline. I can take my cell phone everywhere so no need for landline and I don't need to pay extra for landline.
-
I have a house phone and cell phone. Need both of then right now. Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.
-
We have both. I mainly use the cell phone, but my mom lives with us and she cant make it without her landline.
-
We have both. We mostly use the landline but we have tracfones for when we are out. I have a bunch of friends from out of town who I text quite often.
-
My parents have a landline, but my apartment at college doesn't because it's waste. We all have cellphones.
-
Yes I do 8) hold on I have a call :silly: :)
-
I have a landline for 911 emergencies. A landline will always work even if there's no electricity.
I sometimes forget to charge my cell phone and once in awhile I misplace in my home, so in times of emergency or in case the electricity goes out, my cell phone in my case is no good. For those reasons I keep a landline phone.
-
We just have cells now.
-
We have both cellphone and landline. I often use our landline because is cheaper this way. I only use my cellphone when I get out of the house.
-
I have both because for some reason my internet and cable bill was cheaper with the landline phone, plus I can call and check on the kids when I'm out running errands.
-
I had a landline and a cell phone, but though why have a landline when I have a cell phone, so I disconnected my landline. I find that I don't need it just a cell phone is just fine.
-
Our family has four cellular phones and one landline. I don't answer any of the phones. We keep the landline because a distant family member has been incarcerated and can only make collect calls...apparently you can't call a cellular phone collect? I think that Phones are and intrusion as is people who come to your house with out asking first. Usually it is just a sales person. Seriously-if I need something I will go online and order it. Why do people still sell door to door? I check my voice mails and call the important ones back immediately. I do answer the phone if it is my son, daughter or wife but they generally drop me a text or e-mail.
-
we also have both landline phones and cell phones, I am not sure that we need the landline but my mom likes to have it in case of an emergency
-
No cell phone. Just have a land line. I've had a cell phone before but it's been a long time. Some point in the future I'm sure I'll get a mobile again but I don't have any need for one now, and can't afford to have one 'just because.'
-
We have both. We probably use the landline more (we have 7 landline phones), so it just seems easier to grab one rather than the cell. What do you have/use?
what is a landline???
-
Got both wish we just had the cell phone though.
-
I have both a cell phone and a land line. The land line is barely used except for the fax machine.
-
I'm a cell phone person but for some reason I'm missing my landline, later in the year I might get me another voip phone.
-
We have both, even though everyone in the family has their own cell phone. Mostly get telemarketer calls on the landline, though! Just feel weird getting rid of it.
-
I just have a cell phone. I'm not home long enough to use a landline.
-
I have both,,,,,,,,,,,,,, :monkey:
-
I have landline and cell phones. I think of getting rid of the landline but then I change my mind.
-
I only have a landline to much trouble with a cell phone
