Title: do you eat pickles or olives

I love the green pitless olives too....on the tart side a bit as well.We have a great deli here that make a salad of them in oil and vinegar and chopped celery.Yummy!!

It's hard to swallow. I don't mind green olives in a salad. Funny thing is that I love Korean Kimchee and mild curry,

Post by: braggin on October 02, 2014, 07:05:58 am: I love all sorts of pickles including kosher pickles, garlic pickles, bread and butter pickles, sour pickles. You name it, I probably like it. All sorts of olives including stuffed olives and black olives are also favorites of mine.

My family loves for me to put up the spicy ones and some of our friends always want some too. I like black olives but not the green ones particularily. I like the black ones on pizza or on a subway sandwich.

They have some really good garlic clove olives at Sam's Club right now; they stick a clove of garlic in an olive & it is delicious. It's like $6 something for a jar. It's addictive.

I like dill pickle slices on hamburgers and we eat bread and butter pickles on our homemade philly cheese steak sandwichs (I know it sounds weird but a local restaurant used to make their steak subs with cole slaw and bread and butter pickles lol)

Green olives are good too but black are my favorite! Once when I was pregnant with my first son, for dinner I ate a whole can of black olives, like half a jar of pickles and 3 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! LOL...I think about it now and the combo is so gross! :-X haha

Post by: lvstephanie on October 23, 2014, 08:50:36 am: I have never liked anything that you'd typically find on a relish tray: pickles, olives, radishes, etc. I'm not sure what it is although I think some of it is that I don't like bitter or sour things... I also don't like relish itself (probably because of the pickles in it), sauerkraut, mustard, or onions (actually I like the taste of onions, but they give me bad heartburn). I always get a kick out of going to a fair and seeing a little kid just going to town on a big dill pickle, however. I think it's great that something I dislike can be a favorite for a young kid.
