i swaer some of my friends have lost there minds they say one thing then turn around and do something off the wall i don't know why they even talk to me because they know i tell it like it is and i told my one friend tonight that she needs to stop and use her brains

Personally I think people REACT more often than they THINK these days.
-
yeah me too
-
Some of my buddies act like retards so its all good, people have friends like that.
-
I agree: They should use their brains before doing anything!
-
A lot of people would never react at all if they paused a moment to think! I think the "gut reaction" is the most honest.... ::)
-
Possibly they have always been stupid and you are just now noticing it.
-
They might have adhd. I've got it my brain is wired differently so even if you are telling your friends like it is, they might interpret it differently.

I think people in general are getting more stupid. Also more lazy and self centered. And the more that the government hands out free money to people and they just sit at home and watch tv and wait for the government check to roll in the less they have to support themselves, do anything for themselves, or think for themselves the worse it will get.

Due to the rise of technology, thinking has significantly dropped. Don't bother thinking about the question, just Google it... Also the education system is abysmal nowadays... Education from Kindergarten to Senior HS is almost useless or borderline useful. Even English, Science, and Math are not properly establish by the end of HS. You will see people flunking college and stuff getting 20's in their test due to poor management that was not establish when they are younger

personally i just think people today are just lazy and let the new gadgets take over. Its a shame really.

i think people are just not use to making their own decisions we are told how to do everything even how to shampoo our hair a bit ridicoulous right

Nobody tells you how to shampoo your hair. Yes, there are directions on the bottle. The company has to protect its self. Just because you see someone else doing something that you think is crazy or off the wall doesn't mean it is. I have friends and close family that actually have NO idea some of the things I am going thru and dealing with. People tend to judge others pretty harshly.
I also wouldn't think people want others to make decisions for them. Personally, I have had it up to my eyeballs with unsolicited advice and people telling me what "I" need to do. When you have never faced the exact same problems you don't need to be telling someone else how to handle it. Also, if the person doesn't ask for your advice - I say don't give it.
I see people doing stupid stuff all the time. For example, a family member who gets disability - as soon as the check comes in this person goes to the mall and shopping and eats out and then a week later is broke. But it is not MY place to go tell her how stupid she is being. The same with me - it is no one else's place to tell me how to spend my money or how to do anything else in my life. :D

I agree with people not telling you what and how to do things. Sometimes though people can use an intervention. especially if they're a close friend or family.

Stop Think Speak!

Studies are showing that the artificial ingredients in our food, chemical cleaning solutions, pharmaceuticals and all those artificial scents are doing bad things to our brains and bodies. Then there's the GMO ingredients... We need to get back to a more organic lifestyle so we can return to healthy minds and bodies. Think how much money we'd save. :peace:

I have a nephew who is always saying he will do things , but by the time he has left his grandpas he already has his mind on a half dozen other things that need to be done. It upsets grandpa some when he does not follow through. But in his defense he is one busy young farmer. what with a farm they own and 2 others leased just here in the county and another 3 thousand acres leased 71/2 hours away he is busy. My brother helps out some with dad but the rest falls on my shoulders. So I will call the nephew and tell him he promised his grandfather that he would do something and then he usually gets it done. Dang I hope they don't think of me as real bossy, but a promise is a promise.

Same thing goes for posting in the Forum, I mean really, some should stop and read before they click on the post button! ::)

Lindaroof, I agree with you completely. I think that much of the stupidity comes from a lack of education. I know college graduates that can't read or write. On top of that, there is a large degree of laziness. Some people want to sit in front of the television and watch all the stuff that passes for entertainment. And please, people, read your posts before you click the "Post" button on this or other sites. Some of them are hardly readable. Run-on sentences are difficult to read. Some of them you just have to guess what the person is trying to say.
