Today is election day. I hope everyone takes the time to cast their votes for the offices that are open in their area. We have a very important Senate race in KY. It could be a deciding factor in who controls congress for the next few years. I have voted in every election since I turned 18. Unfortunately (for me, my state and nation), I only seem to vote for the losers.... At least I can say I haven't voted for anyone who has helped turn this nation upside down!

:thumbsup:Heading to the polls real soon. It's our chance to make a difference. I encourage everyone at FusionCash to vote in your State's election.

Good post! Plan to go vote this afternoon; there is a close race for governor here in Wisconsin and I definitely want to make my vote count! Sure hope your reminder will encourage everyone to do the same. :highfive:

I just voted and was coming on FC to ask everyone to cast their vote, but someone else beat me to it. :highfive:
I'd like to encourage those who mistakenly think that their one vote doesn't matter.
If all the people who thought their vote didn't matter voted anyway, it could change the course of the nation.
If you don't like how the country is going right now, then go vote. It's not all that difficult and it does matter.

Is this a serious comment? The electoral college is only for presidential elections.

Oh yes I went early before the polls got too busy

I voted Early as I had doctors visit and wanted to make sure my vote would be counted. Which was a good thing I did as I am still not suppose to around crowds for a couple more days. Don't want to catch a cold or anything else floating around. I have not missed a vote in 50 years. Sometimes my vote was for some one who lost out as president, but one thing about it I did not vote wrong. Just the wrong one won.

This is the first election I have missed in over 10 years. I recently moved and did not want to vote early. I did not have the time to drive to that county. I will definitely be registring when I get settled again.

I voted this morning before going to work! I believe in the old saying "If you don't vote; you have no right to complain!" And I do so love to complain! ::)
