A lot of people go out to buy lottery tickets, sometimes, every day.
They hope to win millions of dollars.
The interesting thing is that, as they spend a dollar each time they buy a ticket and most times lose, the cost adds up to their loss and digs into money they have for expenses. By the time (maybe) they win, they've spent quite a sum and sometimes, it is for naught. It's like spending a dollar a day for years.

For me, I don't do it every day or every week, we feel it is $2.00 worth of fun whichever day we buy it.
I can't see people spending their entire paycheck in hopes of winning, crazy.

i wish i could afford to do that --i do play when the pots gets really really big but that is the only time i play !!!

we play the mega millions and the power bowl every week. that is all. we are retired so we can't spend a lot on things we really don't need to do lol

It is hard to win anything. Ticket prices went up and payouts went down.

My dad like buying them, but not me. I don't believe in spending my money that way.

I like to play it sometimes if the prize is higher, $2 dollars is not bad if it makes you excited and looking forward for the result .

I work in a place that has a lottery machine .. it is amazing how many ppl spend their last dime on lottery tickets looking for that big score .. kind of sad

I only play the local lottery chances are better than power ball or megamillions
scratch tickes maybe once a week $2.00 only

I play the lottery once and a while.

I have never actually brought a ticket but have played every so often with a bunch of friends . I know it is good for the local economy when a store sells a winning ticket but basicly I think it is a waste of time and money, The odds of winning are definately not in your favor. :turkey: :turkey: :turkey:

A few years ago I usually take part in lottery, but after realizing that it'll only lead to you creating more numbers and spending more money, I eventually quit.

I do have to admit I do play when the jackpot gets to $100 million. I have won quite a few small amounts but no big amount yet.

Buy a ticket on occasion. Only once in a blue moon...

That is why I do nont buy them every day. But if you don't play you cant win. I don't even play every week. But I do still play from time to time. Would love to win!

I only play when the jackpot is really BIG. If someone's going to win, it might as well be you, so I take a chance and play. Plus your supporting schools too.

I know what you mean. My best friend's ex played Keno daily. He never won anything.

In the past I have bought a scratch off ticket for $1 here and there. But I hardly ever win anything and the most I ever won was $10. It is a waste. I don't get how some people win over and over. And it is usually people who don't even need the money. If I won I would pay my credit cards off (all money I have charged to live nothing frivolous), pay off my house, help my parents, and a few things like that. I would not be like these people who blow it all in a matter of a few months being stupid and are more broke than they were to start with.
