Title: tags and labels
Post by: Gerianne on December 01, 2014, 07:47:42 am
I noticed when I buy clothes, shirts in particular, that  manufacturers are doing away with tags with size information and laundry instructions. They are putting the information on the inside of the collar. Smart move - no more itch from the tags.

They've been doing that for a few years, which is a great idea and more comfortable for the buyer.

I agree, esp. with t-shirts and the like that aren't too sensitive as to how they get washed. Certain clothes people just use the tags more for checking the size and not the laundry instructions. And once you've bought it, you don't need to be concerned with the size as much, so the tags become a pointless irritation. I'm glad that clothing manufacturers are starting to make tag-less clothes.

I like the stamped info better than the tag I usually ripped out.  I don't think I have ever actually read a tag for info on how to wash anyway. lol
