Sorry you had to go through that today.  I have been told that by a dr before and I wonder with some of the things we go through in life how that is possible  ::) but all we can do is try.  I am sure glad to hear that you are feeling better though.   :rose:

I don't have stress myself, but I have seen some free ebooks about it. Have you read any?

I hear ya and can sympathize since I too suffer with migraines as well as sinus problems.  Seems like some days nothing works.  Hope you get to feeling better.

Sorry you had a bad day.  Waiting in the ER didn't help either.  I hope you are feeling better now.

Hope you feel better. The emergency room sucks when you have to wait a long time.  I have been there many times with family.
The 8 hour trips were the worst.

I have a friend that doesn't handle stress well.  With all she has going on I don't know that I'd handle it well myself.  I do know from experience that when I eat healthier, exercise and get involved at Church... most of the stress that comes my way is tolerated easier.

Dealing with pain and stress is what I do.  The doctor wants me to talk to someone to help with my anxiety issues and stress but i have not gone.  I have chronic pain, Fibromyalga (I don't know how to spell it and neither does my spell check.
and the anxiety is horrible but I don't know what to do.  I know I am tired of take all these medications I have to take.

Rather than rely on medical professionals, in a situation like that, I'd self prescribe.  B complex helps us deal with stress and calcium is a natural pain reliever and tranquilizer.  If your body can tolerate dairy, you can get B vitamins and calcium from milk.  You might also consider taking a mega dose in a situation like what you've described.

I would take a multivitamin, 10 tablets of B complex and 10 tablets of Caltrate plus D.  The calcium with vitamin D will also help you sleep it off.  Your body will thank you and you'll save yourself a trip to the ER.

I would say eating better would help.  I have had six orthopedic surgeries that left me with pain all over.  A drastic change in my diet...and every one of those pains is gone!!!

You can fully get rid of stress. Stress is a part of everyone's every day life. When I get really stressed out sometime I will write about it. I feel like maybe if I get it out of my head and on to the paper it can help.

I am sorry to hear that u were in the hospital as well. I suffer from migraine headaches and fibromyalgia(chronic pain) and it is no joke when  it affects our everyday lives, which adds the stress. I am learning everyday to take it slow
and approach situations differently so I won't get stressed out. I do a lot of self talking and it helps keep me
calm.  I try to access the situation, if at all possible, before I started getting upset because my pain and headaches start getting worst quick.

Dealing with pain and stress is no joke.  I have an appointment today to see my doctor because of stress, anxiety and depression.

One of my other ways to deal with stress is find a way to escape into a book or a movie . Even if it relaxes you for only a short period of time .

I am retired and do not have work-related stress, but my pain is the cause of my stress now.  I have had arthritis for over 40 years (each year gets a little worse) and was diagnosed with fibromyalgia two years ago.  The last few years I've had falls and sciatica which has sent my pain level further up.  I wish I knew the answer.  My doctors have had me on so many different types of treatment, but nothing really helps.
