No plans yet. Last year our congregation decided to do something but I haven't heard of anything being done this year. Probably just sit at home and watch.

No plans yet.  Still trying to plan for Christmas. :)  if anything, probably just a family dinner at my aunt's house.

When I was younger, New Year's was a big event and partied with friends and boyfriends/husband.  Now, for the past 10 years or so, I feel like staying home with TV, bottle of wine, maybe a friend or two...maybe by myself, and not worrying about weather or being on the road.  Now I'm just boring and don't care!!!

Like JaniceSW when we were younger we always hit the clubs and partied all night.  Now my husband and I have our grandson over for the night so my daughter and her husband can enjoy the night.  We will put him to bed, my husband and I will have  a bottle of wine, watch the ball drop, then go to bed.  What a difference when you get older!

Same here. In my younger days, I used to hit the bars and party all night with friends when we celebrated New Years Eve. I remember being dropped off with the sun rising during those younger years. NOW, I rarely go to the bars, been there done that, I guess. My plans are to spend a quiet get-together with a few friends and will most likely be home in bed shortly after midnight.

Yeah, it seems like we conquer one holiday at a time and preparing for Christmas can be a little bit overwhelming.  I don't care where I am on New Years Eve as long as I get my kiss at midnight.

I'm off but I don't have any plans.  If I can get the first couple of days off in January I might go somewhere.

I do not have plans either, I as well partied a lot when I was younger on new years, but now I stay home, we fry some
Shrimp and watch the ball drop on tv. That's my type of fun these days.🍤🍟

No new year plans here, I don't like crowds of people so we stay home and if it's anything like last new year, I can do without it.

:) Gave up New Years Eve celebrations years ago. The New Year comes in anyway, just like every other night. Might as well sleep and miss the hang over.  :)

Another excuse for revelery.

Yes we abused it growing up.Now its quite EZ to see what it is!!

My advice to the wise......stay home and be comfy with loved ones!!

Not really.  I always hope to hang out with family but that's about the extent of my plans.  The last few years though I've spent at home just playing video games with my sister, which was a nice relaxing change after the hassle of running around constantly.

Ringing in New Year's is no big deal to me.

Generally I work that day so the younger crowd can go do the hoopla of it all.

It is just another day for me.

NO plans yet. My husband is no longer alive now so it will be different. I am wondering what I will do? Want to celebrate in some way.

Nothing planned as usual. Would like to find a date to celebrate the New Year somewhere nice and quiet with sweet ambience.

Not yet but that could change. I usually am the designated babysitter but might go visit an old friend.

Ah-the culmination of one year as we enter the next! I am hoping to have all of my goals and resolutions done by five pm on the thirty first. I want to pick up a nice bottle of wine, another one of champagne, fifteen pounds of crab legs, two lobster tails and four filet mignons and settle in for the evening with my family, ideally, watching movies till the ball drops!  I would like to do a early morning five kilometer run with the kids and start a healthy new year together.  Of course the first thing that I will do is my fusion cash daily e-mail, paid to click, five videos and five toll bar searches before I do anything else!  Hope your new year brings you everything that you wish and your achievements are great!
