Do you play the lottery? Do you actually think you will hit the big one. I play when the jack pot gets really big and o hope to win of course!!

I will occasionally get a scratch and win ticket just because our lottery supports our school system and I have a 7th grader so it ultimately helps her.

I play the lottery when the dollar amounts get really high - I have a dollar and a dream. I do play the scratch off lottery tickets more often and I do win on them every once in a while.

I play in some free pools on line. I don't have money to throw away in wishing wells but I don't mind playing free for a small share.

We've been playing the same numbers since the lottery started in our state.  They say that if you play the same numbers for 10 years or more your odds of winning increase.  Its probably been closer to 15 years for us so should hit any time now (I wish)  My Dad won a lottery in his state for $200,000 several years ago.  He got so excited I'm surprised he didn't have a heart attack.

I used to play more often when I had a better job....I would reward my self each payday with a lottery ticket.  Never won much so I am sure the lottery people made more off me than I did off them.  Now, I only play when I am financially desperate.  Sort of illogical but hey, somebody wins and they bought a ticket!

I like to play periodically for fun.  I know the odds of winning are crazy, but someone has to win.  :)
I haven't played in a while, I might buy one today, now that I am reminded that hey I might win.

I've never played the lottery. My dad did just get a ticket from work so I guess we'll see what happens. Not holding my breath that anything will happen but still it's kind of fun to think what if.

I think everyone's "hopeful" they'll win, but I doubt that anyone thinks that they well.

I do not normally play the lottery ... but I did get some instant scratch offs for Christmas and won $100 ... I shared it with the person who bought me the tickets

we do from time to time and once a month we get a free lottery ticket for belonging to our states lottery website but the most we have ever won is a couple of bucks.
