Title: What do you do when you are bored?
Post by: bonzie on January 03, 2015, 11:34:42 am: When I get bored at home, I played at least 30 minutes of my favorite video game. It helped a lot.

Post by: braggin on January 04, 2015, 09:45:53 am: I very rarely get bored - am more likely to not have enough time to do everthing I want to do in a day. You can always read or do puzzles (good for the brain), exercise (good for the body), watch TV or DVD's, or do some hand crafts like knit, crochet, quilt, etc.

I can always find some chores around the house such as cleaning, washing clothes and cooking. And when I want to relax, I like to spend time on the computer, watch TV or spend time with my cat.

It frustrates me when I hear kids say they're bored. There are SO many things they could be doing, such as helping their parents with household chores. :highfive: No, really.

Sometimes I take my dog for a walk. Sometimes I will do housework. Other times I just surf the Internet. I really try to stay offline when I am not FCing or looking for work.I believe there are better ways to spend your time. BMaston12

I work seventeen hours per day, work out for an thirty minutes to an hour each day and commute to and from work for about twenty minutes a day which leaves me about six hours to sleep. If I work less it is generally because I am able to catch my children's sporting and/or school events. Sometimes I do not have a project or I am sick and my time is spent just thinking...sometimes about nothing at all. If I am in a line (one of my income pursuits requires a thirty minute wait) I like to read. I have a pretty active imagination and that generally keeps me entertained by the littlest of things. I love to people watch!

Picking up pennies on the internet is something I enjoy doing and I like playing with food in my kitchen. I also creative positive affirmations or get out and walk.

I'm busy enough I don't have an opportunity to feel bored. :heart:

What I've done recently is write a list of all the skills I want to acquire and then search for learning materials online. So if I want to learn French, I'll look for "free french courseware" or something to that effect. If I can remember, I try to use search engines from the cash sites I use.

Mostly, I spend the time trying to find something I want to do and jump between things very quickly. If I can, sometimes I'll opt for just sitting quietly (outside if the weather is tolerable for me) and either think, try not to think, restrict my thought flow, or listen to some music that's suitable for the intent of my quiet time. :thumbsup:
