The world's greatest mother-in-law was called home to be with the Lord two days after Christmas. The Lord blessed me tremendously by having her as my mother-in-law for the past 35+ years. She was such a wonderful lady and taught me so much especially the old-style homemade cooking. Not too many people can say they have had the greatest mother-in-law. My husband says he has the world's greatest mother-in-law and I have to agree with him, also, since my mother is very awesome. I feel so blessed to still have her with me now.

I am so sorry to hear of your mother-in-law's passing. I also had a wonderful mother-in-law. She was Italian and taught me how to cook Italian and I loved her so much. Actually I had great in-laws, my father in law was wonderful. I bet my in-laws are in heaven with your mother-in- law right now. Again, I am sorry for you and your husband's loss.

I, too, would like to send my condolences to you. It must have been wonderful to have such wonderful in-laws. I can certainly attest for the fact that you were very blessed. Mine have been gone for years, and I still have what I call "anger dreams" about them, especially my mother-in-law. I think it is because I was degraded by her behind everyone's back, and I didn't have the courage to take up for myself. Only after she was gone did I dare tell my husband some of the things she had done and said to me, although he was aware of how spiteful she could be. I don't consciously think about it much anymore, but I guess I am still angry subconsciously.

God needs good people too, so he calls them soon... My prayers for your monther-in-law. God bless her soul

Not only were you blessed with a wonderful mother-in-law, but it seems that she was very blessed with a wonderful daughter-in-law as well. (Rarely have I seen a daughter-in-law show such appreciation for their mother-in-law.) I'm so sorry for this huge loss to your family.

Gaylasue,
I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my mother-in-law 11 years ago, my own mother 19 years ago. I feel your pain. My mother-in-law was like a real mother to me (so now she has company up in Heaven). Always there to help but didn't butt into your business unless asked. Kind and loving. I do hope your grief is eased a bit each day. Remember, she is still watching over you, and will always be in your heart.

So very sorry to hear of your loss. It's wonderful that you and your husband's feelings are mutual. You're right, not too many people can say their mother-in-law is awesome. Mine was a witch with a B, LOL.
