One of the foods i know about is oatmeal. What energy food do you eat in the morning?
-
I like the Belvita bars. They are yummy and easy to eat!
-
I have toast. If I don't have toast, my parrot gets upset because whatever I have, he has. I would never deviate from the breakfast menu. An angry parrot is nothing to mess with.
-
A quick cereal bar will do.
-
Protein gives you energy that lasts longer. I usually have eggs and turkey bacon for breakfast.
-
One of my favorites is peanut butter on toast. I sometimes even put a spoon of peanut butter in the oatmeal and stir it around. YUMMY!
-
I drink smoothies for breakfast. I switch up which one fruit I put in there but I make sure sure to get plenty of kale and spinach in there.
-
Lately I've been on an egg sandwich kick. Weird cause I generally don't like egg's. I've been scrambling them, adding a few slices of lunch meat, a slice of kraft cheese on toasted wheat bread. It's really been holding my appetite over and since I've been working outside the house again it's really helped. Not to mention my swollen belly seems to be shrinking too.

I usually do toast .. not a big breakfast person but know that I have to get my metabolism started for the day
-
eggs made any way!!
-
quinoa is great too. There are people making their own brands of cereals and being creative with the brands names.
oatmeal can be GMO (genetically modified).
Science is one thing. Food is another.

Hot oatmeal or Carnation instant breakfast!
-
I alternate between eggs, cereal and oatmeal. Plus since last year I have lost 20 pounds.
-
I like Bran Flakes or Wheaties. I also like Oatmeal with a blend of fruit and yogurt in the morning. My son and I love fruit in the morning and will usually just eat a whole plate of fruit salad with plain whole wheat toast. He eats so much veggies and fruits I think he's becoming a vegan! Lol I also like those Lean Cuisine Egg and Bacon Cheese Sandwiches. :in-love:
:peace: & ~workmama~ :moon: :rainbow:

Carnation instant breakfast or eggs with bacon
-
I like bacon and eggs on toasted whole wheat! Yum!
-
Oatmeal with almond butter.
-
I usually don't eat breakfast (bad, I know. I'm working on it) but if I have bananas handy they'll do.
-
I make a morning shake with four frozen peaches, four strawberries, six dark cherries, half of a banana, a spoonful of frozen orange concentrate, a scoop of flavorless protein powder (with the equivalent of twenty grams of protein), three ice cubes and a cup of milk. Sometimes I'll add a teaspoon of creatine if I am working out on a consistent basis. I also have a hard boiled egg (five more grams of protein) and a cup of Deathwish coffee (which has two hundred percent of the normal caffeine that a normal cup of coffee has). This is generally thrown together after a briskly paced one mile walk with my two Golden Retrievers and before I make lunches for the family.
-
I usually do a protein fiber bar with almonds. It is ok tasting and i can eat it on my commute.
-
I like to eat quick energy breakfast foods. Thank You!

I like to eat oatmeal, a snack bar, an egg with toast, and I drink special K protein shake.

One of the foods i know about is oatmeal. What energy food do you eat in the morning?
V8 energy drinks. 50 calories, nutritious with a kick of caffeine. I can't go a day without them.
-
I love Kellogg's Special K cereal with Cinnamon and Pecans and Orange Juice to drink. This gives me a quick boost. ;)
-
I am an oatmeal fan. Peanut butter on toast is also good.
-
I have a choice of granola bars, or other type of bar or pop tarts (store brand). It's fast and easy.
-
I do usually have oatmeal for breakfast. Another great option would be to have eggs except for those that suffer from high cholesterol. A better option for them would be egg whites. Granola and yogurt is a great option, or fruit and yogurt. Of course I love all of these breakfast sandwiches from fast food chains however they are usually high in calories.
-
For something quick if I'm on the go, I would get something like a granola, breakfast or protein bar to snack on. If I'm willing to spend extra, I would pick up a muffin, scone or something else to take with me. If I had a little more time and thought of this beforehand, I would make my own protein shake to take with me. Cold cereal is also generally quick, but something I would have to devote myself to eating at home then.
-
coffee, I sometimes don't get around to eating until the afternoon, then it's something quick and easy to clean up like toast or cereal.
-
oatmeal or eggs.
-
I like Oat Bran, with dried fruit, coconut oil, chi seed and flax seed. cook for 3 mins wrap in a towel and then eat while I'm waiting to go into work.
-
homemade granola bars filled with breakfast stuff.. oats, fruit, nuts, wheat germ, flaxseed, coconut, ect. healthy, energizing, and quick. 1 of these and coffee is my morning.
-
Oatmeal or sausage an eggs
-
For a quick energy boost, I think of something like a breakfast / granola / protein bar or shake. I periodically have this when I'm in a rush, but need something in my system. If I have more time, I will spend a little more time for my bacon/sausage, eggs and toast or something more.
-
quaker oats
-
We have laying hens so we eat farm fresh eggs almost every day. Packed with protein it fills a person up and gives them energy for a good portion of the day. Nothing like home raised food in a good environment to meet nutritional needs!
-
A high-protein breakfast gets me going in the morning.
-
We rotate between bran muffins (usually with blueberries thrown in the batter) bagel & cream cheese with fruit and nuts or oatmeal with banana and walnuts and then on Sunday splurge and have pancakes and bacon.
-
I love bananas and strawberries in oatmeal!
-

-
I just started eating oatmeal and it is ok, but I am on a calorie counting kick, so I will try it in the morning.
-
I got a coupon for a free box of Belvita Biscuits. I had never had them before and they were pretty good. They are supposed to give you energy b/c of all the healthy ingredients.
-
I hear oatmeal is good for filling you up and helping you stay fuller through the day but I've never experienced it giving/sustaining energy. I have heard that apples provide better and healthier energy than coffee in the morning. Also bananas are supposed to be good for boosting energy. If I have the opportunity, I really enjoy having some fresh fruit for breakfast, or at anytime during the day. Nuts are supposed to be good for energy too I think, but you don't want to eat too much of them because they're high in fat so you don't want to overdue it.
-
When i have time i like to have two eggs and two pieces of toast but when i am in a hurry i just make a quite bowl of oatmeal and pick up some coffee.
-
Eggs are my favorite breakfast food.
-
I like having smoothies or scrambled eggs with toast. Sometimes I'll have oatmeal, but I get bored with it quickly.
-
oatmeal with fresh strawberry or blueberrys
-
fresh apple and carrot juice mixed together not really a meal but a good meal replacement if your on the go
-
Eggs with turkey bacon toast with a side of fruit and milk.
-
For quick & high energy, I grab a protein shake. Easy to toss in bag and take along on those hurried mornings, too.
-
I sometime eat different energy bars for energy
-
Oatmeal.
-
Those Jimmy Dean sausage biscuits do the trick. It's healthier to have OJ (acidity aside), but I prefer caramel hot cocoa. Haven't been able to find the Nestle brand lately.
-
Oatmeal every single morning. I've had that for years now and I've been doing pretty good.
-
I agree that oatmeal is an amazing food and its cheap. So everybody can have it. No excuse for this.
-
My breakfast food is a smoothie with protein powder and any fruit that I like.
