Title: sunscreen
Post by: Gerianne on January 24, 2015, 08:41:22 am
I discovered that avocado oil, coconut oil, olive oil among others can be used as natural sunscreen. It's good to know because I have those things in my cupboard.
I don't like to sit and bake in the sun anyway. It might be a once a year occasion.

Hm... I might need to do some research and see if that will work for me. I'm super pale and can NOT tan. Finally found a sunscreen that works for me just a couple years ago. I burn (quickly!) no matter how much I slather on unless it's a really high SPF.

I heard that just ten minutes in the sun will get you your vitamin D for the day.

Thank for the information.  I didn't know that.  I don't like to go on the sun too much.  I get sunburn very easily so don't want to risk myself.

I don't like the feeling of oil on my skin.  I prefer the lotions.
