Title: hobbies

what occupies your free time?

Whenever I have down time, which is very rare, I pull out something to read on how to invest and get better returns. I am constantly on the out look for additional, non-intrusive, sources of income to supplement my hobby. I work two full time jobs and one part time job of which all goes to my family and their expenses. I also look for ways to save cash. My latest is going to be the purchase of a scooter for my five mile work commute. I am giving my son the car that I drive. My expense will go from four hundred dollars a month down to one hundred and six dollars a month.

Post by: vickysue on February 08, 2015, 02:28:45 pm: I enjoy working on my craft hobbies and yes I do make some money at them, but now I live in a small town and we have very few places to have craft shows and or sales. But I still manage to work on some thing. these past few months I have not done much, but am now ready to get back to them. I grew a lot of gourds this summer and they are now dry enough to clean and paint. Ant it is getting closer to the time I can start a garden which I am so looking forward too. Fresh home grown veggies.

Post by: kapeh12 on February 08, 2015, 09:20:30 pm: I have several hobbies - I take notes on tv shows and commercials for a trivia contest, I build websites and applications for friends, read, bake. Seasonally I garden during the summer. Last year I taught myself how to make maple syrup so I plan to do that again this spring. I also learned how to can produce so I'll be adding that to my hobby list in the fall again.

I like DIY projects. I also like making jewelry. Either one are what I like to do at home. I love the outdoors and would like to spend time outside if possible. Hiking and photography are what i do outside. I just wish I was where I could do these things. I have faith that it will soon change. BMaston12
