Hello everyone. :) It's a new year a new you and now we are already in the second month of the new year. :o Next thing you know we will be ringing in the new year for 2016. :o Time go by so fast right? :) My question for you is will the young you be happy to see where you are now? ??? And If not what changes will the young you make to be where you desired? :-\ ??? We all think having a great answer for the previous questions will make us have a fulfilling life. However it is the opposite. ??? :o Instead of worrying where you could be just be happy of being. :) ;D :present: :rose: Your thoughts please? ??? :) :D

Great thought provoking topic.
Would my child self be happy with where I am today? Yes, but she'd be saddened that it took me so long to get here. :) :-[
I have mused over what my life would be like if things were different. In fact I've mused over a couple different scenarios, but I wouldn't say I worry about it. It was an interesting contemplation and it helped me figure out the constants in my life, the things that would have been the same. :glasses-nerdy:
I don't have time to worry about where I could have been, I'm to busy finally living the life I always wanted.

Being happy is the point! Many dreams and plans never come true. So, try to be happy any way you can!

I am happy just "being" but find that my existence appears to be devoted/funneled into meeting the needs of others. I am not really living for me but for the success and well being of my family. I wake up at four thirty in the morning to walk the dogs, feed the dogs, make the kid's lunches ( my lunch), and cleaned up for work by six. I drink a few cups of coffee so that I will remain wide awake and focused for the ten hour shift. I then come home at around four in the afternoon and work until ten or eleven at night at a consulting job out of my home office/study. This schedule goes Monday through Friday. On Saturdays and Sundays I work from five thirty in the morning till nine thirty at night. All of this is for my family. I give myself ninety minutes of exercise per week but generally only so that I remain healthy enough to fulfill my family's needs. But I am still thankful for "being".

Being happy and content in everything I got is good enough for me. still have lots of plans though.

First of all Thank you ladies for your responses.  I'm happy you guys are busy living your life. :peace:  Instead of dwelling on the past and what could've been. :highfive: :crybaby2: :rose: My opinion is this if it was ment to be it would've been. Everything happens for a reason. :clover: :rose:  :) I use to live in the past and constantly thinking where my life could've been. :BangHead: :BangHead: I kept thinking about things I could've or should've done differently. :BangHead: :crybaby2: I begin thinking that's not living. Everybody from time to time regreted a decision they've made. The best thing to do is next time it's time to make a decision decide wisely. :highfive: :rose: Making mistakes is human and it makes life a lot more colorful. :highfive: :rose: So live with no regrets. :highfive: :D :rose:
