Do you drink 64 ounces of water a day? I try to, I have a 32 ounce cup that I keep on my desk at work. On the weekend I do not do so well with drinking all of my water.
-
It takes a lot for me to even sip a small cup of water. When I do, I like to flavor it with lemon juice or various fruits.
-
I usually get at least 32 its hard to get more.

I have tried too. But I would spend all my time in the bathroom. Can't do it. I try to drink as much as I can. Here lately it has been all bottled water. Wish I could trust the drinking water in my city. Too bad. BMaston12

I'm working my way to the 62 ounces. Recently started drinking an 8 ounce cup first thing in the morning, before I even have my coffee. Wait 15 minutes before eating/drinking anything. Also started having water with lunch and any other time I'm thirsty during the day. Haven't reached the 62 ounce mark but I feel good about what I have been doing. Seems easier for me in the summertime than winter.
-
I just heard on TV this past week that a doctor said you shouldn't drink more water than you want, it is evidently not all that good to overdo.

When I was working I drank a whole lot of water but now not so much but I'm trying to change my lifestyle as far as what I eat and exercise, so drinking more water is part of that change
-
I probably don't. I try but after a couple of bottles of 16.9 oz of water I usually have to use to the bathroom like nobody's business. Like seriously who wants to use the bathroom every 45 minutes?
-
I ama diabetic and they suggest not drinking quite that much. I average about 32 oz a day and I will drink a couple cups of tea as well. I do like water but I tend to drink more flavored seltzer water than regular water. :peace:
-
No, I do not drink 64 ounces of water a day. The usual amount of water that I drink in a day is somewhere between 16-32 ounces.
-
I try but 64 oz is a lot for me. I drink 2 or 3 bottles of water a day, getting that 4th one down is work.
-
I never measure how much I drink, but I know I drink at least 5 cups of water per day, sometime adding bottle of spring water. Can't imagine someplace without water, how people can survive.
-
I've done a lot better upping my intake of water. I like to drink tea, that's where most of my water comes from. Celestial Seasonings is a favorite. Flavors the water and makes it easier to consume more. I also made it a habit of having a cup or 2 when I wake up in the morning.
-
try to drink 3 or 4 glasses a day not sure if I drink 64 ounces a day
-
i used to be better at it than i am now..i was drinking 1-2 gallons a day per my dr..he wanted me to drink 2 gallons...took a long time to do that..but for some reason i didnt do it one day and that was gone...now i try to get in 2-3- 20oz bottles a day...
-
I basically do - it varies from day to day depending on how active I am. If I do a lot of cardio, I'll drink more. If I'm a bum just being a couch potato, I drink a little less.
-
i drink water bottles, so i try to drink at least 3 a day. which is equivalent to about 50oz.
-
I really do not know. I do drink 3 or 4 cups a day.
-
I'm into sucking on ice cubes, so in the evenings at home I will have a big cup put lots of ice in it and drink it twice. In addition, I go the gym and I have a 23 ounce water bottle that I finish most of the time. I think when the weather gets warmer, that we will all be drinking m0re water.
-
Only if you count what is in my coffee.
-
i do at work m-f on the week it is less
-
I love water and drink it constantly. I normally drink 6 to 8 -16 oz. bottles a day. :)
-
I have started adding vinegar, lemon juice and honey to my water so I can down 20 ounces other than that, I usually don't drink it.
-
I don't drink as much water in winter time as I do during the summer months. The Texas heat keeps me thirsty. But I do drink more than the average person because I don't like tea, coffee or milk. I only drink water and soda water so in a day's time I probably get pretty close to 64 oz.
-
I try to drink as much water as I can because I know I should. But, honestly, I drink way too much coffee!
-
i usually get my 8 glasses of water in as i usually drink 6-7 bottles per day
-
I don't think I get to that magic mark very often as I should but I don't think most people do. I probably am more in the 30 oz range.
-
I usually drink 2-3 bottles /day.It's so cold outside,i can not drink tooooooo much water now.
-
I drink half of that daily. Why so much? Is this part of a diet?
-
I am really bad about drinking water.I need to lay off the soft drinks and drink more water.
-
I like to drink waters. Thank You!
-
... I get my water in coffee :P Occasionally kool-aid or tea. I almost never drink just plain water. Too spoiled I guess lol
... I probably get enough water? I mean, milk from cereal and water in soups and foods counts too, right? x)
-
I drink water all the time so I have no problem drinking it.
-
I do drink quite a bit of water, but not 64 ozs of water consistently or usually ever. Too much liquid of any kind makes me more likely to go to the restroom and I'm not the best on containing my bladder.
-
Most days I drink well over that. I proably am 80-100 ounces a day. I have more trouble on the weekends as well.
-
You don't need to drink 64 oz per se, just enough to make your pee clear. Sometimes I can't drink that much though. I hate peeing every 10 minutes!!
-
There is no way i drink that much water however i do drink a lot of liquids a couple of cups of coffee a day a bottle of water and some natural juice. that is one thing i need to work on more but it is so hard to force yourself to drink the recommended amount.
-
I do drink alot of water, but I'm sure it's not 64 ounces. Does water in coffee and ice tea count?
-
Water water and more water is almost always the only thing I drink about 90 % of the time. The other 10 % consists of milk and sometimes hot chocolate or Postum.
-
Yes, I drink water every day! Water does a body good!
-
I'll drink a big glass before breakfast, lunch, and dinner...or at least I try...
-
i have to have at least 2 500ml bottles every 2-3 hours. i find it hard to believe that other people struggle with drinking one bottle.
-
I go through times when I'm really good at drinking a lot of water, then I start wanting to drink other things. Lately I haven't been so good at it.
-
I drink water only when I feel thirsty, and I think I don't drink 8 glasses a day.
-
I used to drink 1 gallon a day when I expecting for the seek of the baby. But I never measure how water I drink anymore sometimes I forgot to drink water between meals from being so busy.

I dont think I get a full 64 everyday but I do try to match a cup of water for every cup of coffee so I'll be I am close. I also take a huge 30 oz cup of hot water to bed with me an drink it while I read my night time book. They say this helps reduce your risk of stroke and heart attack but I am sure it is a dangerous habit cause you have to get up in the middle of the night.
-
I have been trying to drink more here lately. At least 32oz. Still have a hard time though.
-
I try to drink a lot of water a day but idk if it comes out to 64 ounces or not never really measured it before
-
I drink a lot of water a day. its good for you
-
I easily go over a gallon a day, and sometimes approach 2 a day. Water's really good for you and makes everything about your life much better.
-
I'm trying to! the same way as you with a full bottle of water at my office.
-
It's good to have water with you all the time to drink all day long but it really is not necessary to drink 64 oz every day. You eat different foods every day that vary in water content so some days it's not necessary to drink so much. You should drink what you are comfortable with, don't force yourself
-
i try to, but a lot of the time i fall short. wish there was a way to keep up with it better
-
Yes! Minimum 8 glasses of 8 ounces. Not all at once. Drinking more is even better for your body!
-
I`m having trouble making the goal to drink 8 glass of water a day. I always forget. I really need to do that.
-
yes i do,,,i always have watwer with me!!!!!!!1 :star:
-
It would definitely be in my best interest to drink that much water. I understand we can alleviate a lot of different symptoms if we're well hydrated.
If I drink coffee and consume the wrong kinds of carbs; which I sometimes do....
I have a difficult time drinking that much water. This is one of those things where I know what's best for me...
but sometimes I do what I want to do, instead.

I think that I am really close to consuming sixty four ounces of water per day. I have an aluminum water bottle that must be about thirty ounces which I drink once per day. I also have two sixteen ounce bottles of water at work and finish off twelve ounces when I wake up and another twelve ounces just before I go to bed. Phewww...I guess I drink a lot of water! I used to drink about four sixteen ounce plastic bottles of water per day but got to thinking how costly this was financially. Over the course of a year, at twenty five cents a bottle, I was dropping about three hundred and sixty five dollars a year! Not to mention the impact I was having on our environment! I have re routed that money into more investments...and now I am thinking that I will bring another aluminum bottle to work!
-
I drink a lot of water, but I really haven't counted how much. I guess I should.
-
Never cared for water so no I do not do the required amount daily.
-
I try my best but the must I can do is 32 oz a day, which is better than nothing
-
We need to drink lots of water everyday, even in the colds days, our body get lots of good benefits from it, in different ways.
-
I do not have time for water when drinking root beer!
-
I drink water more frequently since I don't drink to much soft drinks
-
I have to say I drink at least 64 oz. every single day - sometimes it seems like a lot more especially in the summer.
-
I just can't believe water can harm a person if someone over drink it too much, I thought it is safe and is unlimited of how much we drink. I read an article in face book, that a woman hospitalized and almost died because of drinking too much water. But she didn't eat for 3 days too.
-
I drink way more than 64 oz....
-
My mouth must be connected directly to my bladder. Fifteen minutes after drinking any liquid, I'm in the bathroom. I have to stop drinking water by 7 p.m. or I'm up 4 times a night. ;D
-
Counting my coffee and tea, I drink over 64 oz a day. It is difficult to get them all in on some days.
-
4 or 6 oz. at a time is the best way to drink water.
-
I don't know how much water I drink each day but I sip it many times daily while consuming other beverages like juice or coffee etc. I try to have variety in my life, I think it's healthier that way which makes me happy and that counts for a lot!
-
no but I need too
-
I'm glad my child drinking more water lately. Water is important to our body.
-
I drink about 32 ozs of water a day, sometimes more. I don't drink pops or juices, so I always have my water with me.
-
Yes, I drink a lot it really is good for you. I drink room temp water with lemon when I wake up.....
-
I try to do at least a bottle or two, usually adding lemon or crystallight, if I am going to be in the house I may do more, that way I do not have to worry about using public bathrooms, which sometimes are not that clean.
-
In all honesty, I don't drink as much water as I should. Invariably I drink juice which is from concentrate, so I add as much water as there is juice. That way, I enjoy my drinking and I continue to want more juice. I drink Great Value no added sugar apple juice. The more I drink, the more I want, which is not a bad thing in this 101 degree weather.

I've been diagnosed with diabetes so I try to stay hydrated. I used to love the taste of our water (from a well) but when we got it tested, it had some bacteria in it, so we bot a black light and water filter. Our water was also very hard, which was great except for showering and the lime deposits so we put a water softener on line. Water has no "flavor" now, so I buy MIO water enhancer which has no carbs, no calories, no sugar, etc.
One little bottle gives me a lot of 8 oz. bottles of enhanced water. I usually buy the electrolyte or B-vitamin energy styles because my energy level is always low. When you think about it, MIO is pretty cheap, too. around $3 for one bottle but lasts a long time. I love the Peach Tea, too, but haven't been able to find it lately. :(
-
You know I don't even know how much I drink. All I know is that some days I drink a lot.
-
I'm not religious about drinking it , but I try to get a least 32 oz daily. Some days I miss the mark, but oh well. I consume other liquids and eat fruits, ie watermelon which contain mostly water.
-
I drink about 2 or 3 medium size bottles of water a day. i drink a power aid and then refill the bottle.
-
I should drink more. I drink tea or flavored water with lemon or lime. I cannot drink plain water all day.
-
Most days, yes, I drink the recommended amount. I have a cup at my desk that I fill at least 3-4 times a day and then I drink at least another 16-32 ounces after I get off work.
-
I drink iced tea all day. I make it weak with lemon and just a small amount of raw sugar. That's how I get my water, but I don't keep track of how much. I make a gallon almost every day.
-
I only get about 3 glass of water each day most of the time I don't even think about it.
-
yes,,,i drink lots of water.........
