out of the choices, i chose andy griffith.
its one of my dad's favorite shows, so i remember
watching it with him (and still to this day!) we've
probably seen every single one. i didn't really
like when they switched to color, though.
it definitely lost something...

but i'm a huge roseanne fan also!
darlene is my hero.

I loved "Murder She Wrote," and "Columbo," but my all time favorite is "The Avengers" with Diana Rigg as Emma Peel!

Roseanne is a great show. Perfect blend of comedy and seriousness. Very cutting edge for the time. I love that its on cable so often now!

I picked Little house on the prarie, it was so well done, produced by Michael Landon.  But as the children got older and one of the girls was blind, the storyline started losing it's luster in my opinion.  Then there was the series "The next generation" of little house, where Malissa Gilbert (Laura Ingles Wilder) was the sole subject of the series but that show only made it a few months.

The older shows were much better than the reality shows of today. They actually had a story line.

My favorite old tv show among the ones listed was Andy Griffith. I still find it occasionally on some channels now. The actors were portrayed well in a small town setting. The characters were believable of small town life. It was a funny show. :)

I wish that they would bring back some of the real old shows like: Adam-12, Dragnet, S.W.A.T., The Streets of San Francisco, My favorite martian, The Rookies, Emergency, The Rifleman. & a few others.  It would kinda give us a break from today's problems and issues to see those old shows.  I know that all the young people are saying "what is he talking about"..........but.........the baby boomers know.

Of the choices I chose Golden Girls, but I really miss Balkey (?) on Perfect Strangers.  They never show that show anymore, and I loved it.

I would love to see some of the old shows come back.  Emergency, Dragnet all of those in that era were great.  It is interesting to see some of the actors from those shows doing other shows and bit pieces here and there.

.........Dragnet was always funny when Jack Webb would say things like "All you hippies are just doped up and lookin for trouble"......so out dated but it was a good show.

I went with Golden Girls, but really I like all of the choices and will still watch them if I'm in the mood for a little brain-dead time. But my all time favorite, would love to see it again...

Dark Shadows!!

I used to RUN home from school to catch this show, every day! Started a lifelong love of all things supernatural, and I still think Quentin Collins was just too freaking hot for words! LOL

I really like the Golden Girls they were so funny, and Betty White resembled my grandmother to a tee, we could not go anywhere without someone thinking she was Betty White and I was Tina Yothers, I got that the other day, You look just like Tina Yothers, that says something for me, I got told that same thing 20 years ago. That is a comliment.
