i have been eating canteloupe and salads but have hit my limit just today so need to find different food to eat that will still lose the weight

I like to have baked chicken or fish with various steamed vegetables and a sweet potato. Then maybe an apple or some pineapple for dessert.

Agreed! The best way to sabotage a diet before it starts is to think of it as a diet. Make it less about deprivation and more about learning new habits. Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, the Atkins Diet, none of that will do anyone any good until they learn that losing weight is about changing your relationship with food. Sure, you will lose weight on Weight Watchers or the Atkins Diet but once that weight is lost, if you go back to your original way of eating, you are back at square one.
Pretty much anything can be diet food. Anything from pizza to cookies, fried foods and french fries. As long as you exercise regularly and eat in moderation, you can eat anything you want and still lose weight. I've done it. I lost a lot of weight a few years back and I still ate all my favorite foods (pizza, chocolate cake, fried chicken, french fries with dressing and gravy, baked ziti, Guinness-battered fried fish and Guinness brownies) and lost the weight. I exercised at least 30 minutes every day and watched my portions. I didn't see "diet" on something and think "Oh, ok, fewer calories, less fat so I can eat twice as much!". I kept the weight off until I had some pretty serious health issues and the medication I had to go on thought it would be a cute side-effect to cause weight gain. That was disappointing but it couldn't be helped. I got there once before, I can do it again! :)

I definitely agree with this. I've read numerous articles about diet sodas being worse than the regular. Diet soda can actually cause weight gain instead of loss, can cause headaches and isn't good for the heart. To be honest, I can't tolerate the flavor of diet sodas. The flavor makes me nauseous. I dearly love Coca Cola but I wouldn't touch the diet version for love nor money. I like to buy Mexican Coca Cola since it is made with real sugar instead of the high fructose corn syrup. Tastes so much better!

I love boiled eggs in mine and just about any kind of veggies I can grow or find

Cucumber salad with diced cucumbers, onion, and tomatoes with a little italian dressing.

I enjoy a yogurt with peanuts and a fruit on the side as a to go meal.

Canned "lite" fruit with granola and a dab of whipped cream is good.

Black bean burgers and Amy's organic spinach pizza are my favs. I recently found a recipe to make black bean burgers at home not sure when I'll get to make them because I'm the only one in my household that eats stuff like that.

I have been trying to loose a little weight before my summer vacation this year. I have been drinking mostly water and eating high fiber and protein foods. Also lots of veggies. Have also been doing 30 minutes of cardio and core workouts. Have lost a little weight but no where near my goal just yet.

Smoothies, fruit yogurt and legumes! !!

To lose weight, you need to eat smaller portions apx every 3 hours to keep your metabolism up.
The last meal I usually have is a glass of Casein Protein Powder, it is a slow digesting protein that helps your metabolism stay level & the slow release of protein helps the body's healing process, bonus. Since I have been using that specific protein powder, Casein, I have noticed that my endurance through exercise has increased & I don't suffer from muscle cramps. Best stuff ever.

What kind of Amy's pizza was just recalled? Was it the spinach? Something in her food line was recalled. Please check it out before you eat the spinach pizza.

I guess my favored weight lost option would be a salad, but sometimes the optimal way with certain dressings is not too my liking, so my diet isn't always so healthy when I put certain dressings. The weight loss tv dinners could theoretically help too, but I always end up feeling a need to snack further as they're not enough.

I like to eat proteins with veggies, keeps me satiated.

My favorite diet food is no diet food. Well, maybe that is the reason I cannot lose these extra pounds. But, seriously, when I have to cut back, salad fixings are the thing. You can get really get creative with lettuce and some veggies.

I like berries and coffee for diet foods.

I have not tried it but I heard that Kale is one of the best veggies out there. I also know that green salad helps a lot if you want to shed a few pounds. I have tried beans and legumes but sometimes I just need to drink more water than mils or juice.

Salads are my favorite or maybe just baked chicken with veggies and water that is always a really low calorie meal and makes you feel great to.

When I am on a health kick I eat a lot of salad.

I don't diet, but eating food in proper proportions can help reduce weight. Generally you can eat anything you like.

My favorite is a big glass of ice water. You can't get lower than zero calories or carbs.

I don't like any diet food, but I do like the Sprite Zero.
