That is a tough choice but I would also give up electricity.  It would be harder to live without water.  You need it for drinking, washing hands and taking baths.

This is a really tough one, I need electricity to use different things and then most important you need water for everyday use. I think I would choose water because I can't seem to live without water.

I wouldn't give up electricity because you can buy water if necessary and if you have electric at least you can heat the water to bathe :)

Regardless of how the cat jumps, I would give up electricity.  I grew up on a farm and we didn't have electricity. It's not as hard as it seems.

Hello. Well to me that's an easy question to answer. I would rather be without electricity. For so many years the earth didn't have electricity, and living things (including humans) were able to survive. But it have never been recorded any living creature to survive a long time without water. I'm from Haiti. At nights there are no electricity. You have to wait until the next day to have lights. In This era we are obsessed with electricity. For instance I can't forget my cell phone. If I Forget It I have to go back home and get it or be miserable. We all need to separate ourselves from electricity for a little while. This question shows us how obsessed we are with electricity. We all should change our dependency on electricity.

I would definitely give up electricity.  Without water, life is very difficult, not to mention dirty.  Have actually lived that way for 5 days plus during power outages and it can be done. Not fun, but can be done.

You can live without electricity.  I have done so many times thru out my life.  But since the water in included in the electricity if you loose electric you also loose water.  I remember a couple years ago this stupid man was on the news because he was living in a camp ground in a tent with his kids and wife.  He said well I had a choice to pay the electric bill or house payment and I chose the electric bill and eventually I lost my house.  All I could think is "you stupid idiot".  Now you have no house and no electric.  Always pay the house payment.  Or rent.  You can live in a house with no electricity.  Believe me - you can survive.  People are too pampered these days.

Kind of off track but anyway.

You would not have that if you GAVE UP WATER.    If you choose to give up water you would give up the wells and creek.

Seriously?  Why no electricity at night?  And cell phones don't run on electricity.  Just sayin.
And you cannot just change your dependency on electricity.  We need electric to be able to keep food cold, shower (yes you can use a cloth and wash off), cook, and on and on.  Yes, like I already said, you can live with out electricity as I have done so in the past.  But electric itself is not something you can just separate from.  Although, I do agree with you on the electronics.  I get so irritated with people who come in at work and at least 1/3 of them have ear buds or ear phones on.  Or are walking around oblivious to what is around them because they are engrossed in their phones.  You cannot even carry on a conversation with people these days without them being on their phone at the same time.  Now, THAT, people need to separate from.

Well we could live with out Electricity, but we can't live with out water. So doing the math I pick living with out electricity!

You can't exist as a Human Being without water.  That is an easy choice.  Electricity wasn't  always around, an people back in the day survived using lanterns.

Water - being without either one is no fun but if I am out of electricity I am also out of water because I have a well.  In addition to which I was out of water for two weeks when I didn't have the money to get my well fixed and it was terrible but I made it.  I washed in water in the sink and since I had electricity I was able to heat it up some which made it tolerable and I carried in jugs of water from the store or my son's to drink and cook with so - again neither one is tolerable to be without.

Depends on the details. If I am in the desert, I would give up electricity. I have a pool, so being without water isnt hard, I can boil pool water  :D

Definitely would give up electricity. You can't live without water..need it to survive. Just like going back to the old days when there was no electricity...Candles and build a fire.

This would be a very difficult decision. Both require a lot of thinking and depending on your budget. should I buy more water, or heat the house with outside wood and fire? I would say I can live without electricity because you can always make a fire but I would be going back to the primitive way of life.
