When you pack for a short or long vacation, do you take everything, including
the kitchen sink, lol or pack light.
When I was younger, I packed to much, but I think I have changed.I have
not traveled on a few years.💼👙👖🎽👜👟👞👔👕👢💄🌂

I take only what is needed.
-
I have a tendency to over pack. Never know what I'll need and I'd rather have and not need it than to need it and not have it.
-
I always say I am going to pack light but that never happens! lol ... going on a cruise in June and I intend to keep it light because there are 3 of us and I don't want to hassle with coming home with a ton of things either!
-
Nope, I pack exactly what we will need plus 1 extra for emergencys. I learned a long time ago not to over pack. Now my sister seems to pack enough for 3 people and it is just her. Then she shops for more. she is a regular clothes horse. If we should have to pick up it is always 2 large suitcases and an over nighter for 2 weeks. I have never understood why.

I used to really overpack but as I've matured I've quit taking so much. I'll still take a few extra changes of clothes for backup but not near what I used to take. Our daughters (grown now) have a real tendency to overpack. One of them always packs like she's going to be gone for at least a month. lol

I don't pack a hole lot I don't take very many vacations
-
I always pack too much..then when I get there, I ask myself why the hell did you bring that!!! hahaha :peace:

It can be more exhausting than the vacation. I try to stage mine out over a few days. And don't forget the check list. Since I am by myself now, it doesn't take so much planning or work to pack. BMaston12

i have always packed to much --then when its time to come home i have a ton of stuff that was never used ! i think next time i am only taking two outfits and my tooth brush !!
-
I pack what I need, less seem's more for me.
-
I never pack right..I'd be giving you poor advice
-
I always pack way too much! But, my poor husband is even worse! He can't say anything about me! He just happily lugs everything out!
-
It all depends on the trip! If there will be washing machines I might bring less- if it's business I would bring something different dor each day.
-
I can never pack light, it's too hard. Maybe I'm too high maintainance
-
When I was younger my mom took everything an my dad put some back while she wasn't paying attention lol I take only a couple things
-
when and if i do go on a vacation i like to travel lightly
-
I take only what is needed.
Yeah, me too.
-
I try packing light maybe 3 changes of clothes a toothbrush, hairbrush, shoes, makeup, and my wallet.
-
I usually pack whatever I need, then a few extra clothing items just in case. I don't feel like I over pack, though.
-
Despite my experience traveling in general, I'm a poor packer and I've been critized by my travel companions. I don't pack the kitchen sink, but I'm close to it. I always seem to run out of room in my suitcase even on short trips. Maybe I take too many precautions, but I always feel the need to carry a lot of things as contingencies on my trip.
-
I try to pack as light as I can and coordinate my outfits to get different looks for less clothes. I like to take just one rollaboard and usually a backpack. I don't like to lug around a lot of luggage.
-
We just take the stuff that we need on a daily basis like personal hygiene, clothes, and shoes. If we staying at a hotel then we don't need pillows and all that stuff. When we stay at relatives then we take our pillows and stuff. We never take food just drinks and stop along the way for quick eat and go.
-
I think I tend to pack more than I need~but am working on changing that!!!
-
Traveling lightly is a MUST for me. I take a pillow/blanket always, I know too much about hotels. I have a pillow rolled up inside a rolled sleeping bag and a zippered tote with wheels for anything else. (I never have to pack to airline's regulations because I refuse to go on a plane.)
-
I pack things that I can easily mix and match with other pieces of clothing that I'm bringing to save room and weight and it's better to roll your clothing to create more room.
-
I honestly try to pack only what we need but I still wind up goin overboard
-
I try to pack light but consider weather conditions and make sure I have something for everything.
Also, leaving a little room in your bag helps. Unless you're going somewhere really secluded, you can usually buy anything you might have forgotten. Plus souvenirs, of course!
-
I am a pretty light packer..unless it is a camping trip, then I take the whole house with me....lol.
-
I always pack to much, I just when on vacation and I over packed, but better to over than forget something. LOL
-
I think about it. but, I have not done any packing for years. hopefully, I'll be able to go somewhere this year.
-
I always think i pack pretty light but when i get home and realize how much i packed and didn't use i feel pretty silly. I usually over pack on clothes.
-
I always pack extra just in case.
-
I always over pack, I would rather have to much than not enough, I really overdo it on shoes just in case my feet get to bothering me.
