Title: Anyone play pool (Billiard) - What league and level are you?

I'm a beginner and I like to learn how to break on 8 and 9.  What ball should I hit at the rack?

Any suggestion?

Break from the dot closest to either of the corner pockets. Make sure you cue is parallel to the ground level. Its all about the followthrough.
