sometimes, when you make a business call, they have music while you wait.
it can be nice to listen to.

it is nice to listen music but after 22 minutes you really don't care if it's rock,classic or country.  :)

Or it can be extremely annoying.  Especially when the music is really loud.  I would rather wait in silence.

Well someone who enjoys music that would be suitable for them. But if it was someone who does not like music and then put you on hold for another 15- 20 minutes that is another whole story. True story though.

I sometimes like the music but sometimes it get annoying when they make me wait forever.

It isn't that pleasant when they loop the same wordless Muzak song over and over again, interspersed with announcements that "my call is important to them, and to hold until it can be answered by the next available representative".

I don't mind background music but I don't care for how loud they play it.  Usually wayyyy too old.

i really depends on how long I am on the phone and why I am on the phone as to whether or not I like the background music. Background music is better then ads or dead air :rainbow: :rainbow: :rose: :wave:
