Title: what kind of pizza do you like?

I guess it reminds me of going shopping with my grandma. We would walk to the stores and for lunch stop a get a slice of pizza. you had to fold it in half and the oil from the melted cheese just dripped.

Also we make our own pizza at home if dont want to go out. Publix supermarket has *bleep* of pizza dough and we make our own pizza with that and it comes out great and we can put our choice of toppings and how much we want of each ingredient. In fact we just made pizza Friday night and it turned out awesome. I :heart: pizza.

For brand of pizza, my favorite here in town is Papa's Johns. They are by far the best. :star:

For type of pizza, I like getting plenty of toppings like mushrooms, green pepper, Italian sausage,
black olives, tomatoes. :thumbsup:

I also like sampling pizza places when I go out of town to see what they're like. Yum!

Post by: braggin on May 11, 2015, 12:49:19 pm: I usually don't like chain pizza shops. Their crust is usually too thick. I like a nice thin New York style crust. Best ever are two local shops I frequent for pizzas. I usually order either pepperoni and black olives or sausage and onions. Yummy!

Their prices are a bit much, but the food was really good and they didn't really skimp on the toppings either so that made the price a bit more worth it. :thumbsup: Oh the pizza had chicken, bacon, ham, pineapple and I'm not sure what kind of cheese it was but I don't think it was your typical mozzarella.

But we moved away and I haven't been able to find a good replacement since! I'm an all veggies pizza kinda girl - tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, and onion. On Pizza Hut's stuffed crust it's pretty good.

I make pizza at home now. It's nice knowing the healthy ingredients that went into it. It's nice being able to make/use the exact kind of crust you want. The pizza always tastes so fresh & never greasy like some pizza-chains.

My favorite toppings are usually olives, mushrooms & red/green/yellow bell peppers with a little cheese and then a sprinkle of Parmesan once it's done. (Cheese & jalapeno's good too!)

We also have a lot of chains but like I said we steer clear of them - sometimes we also make pizza at home which turns out really good (to us anyway).

Most of the time we make our own, we have a couple of different places close that we can get the pizza dough at and do ourselves.
