Title: it cost me .....
Post by: Gerianne on June 12, 2015, 04:56:54 am
sometimes it's worth it, whatever it is, to buy something that is a bit expensive.
I buy some things in bulk and save in the long run.

I asked to have something custom made and was satisfied [ bookcases].

I ran across a template that I liked in the top half of an object. The company said it isn't cost effective for them to cut the object in half to satisfy my request. So if I want it, I have to buy the whole thing and have part of it cut off. I just may do it.

If I see something that I really like, I'll go for it. Even if it costs a leg and an arm.

Yes. Occasionally, I will splurge on something that really makes me happy.

Sometimes if you really want something you have to spend more to get it.

If you end up with exactly what you want, then cutting it in half is not a sacrifice at all.

I totally agree. If you are planning to use something a long time, you might as well buy new and get it, even if it is pricey. You definitely would be getting your use out of it.

Sometimes everyone has to splurge on something expensive or frivolous - it's the only way to stop the "nagging" in your own head!!
