Post by: davidh121 on June 30, 2015, 10:30:46 pm: The closest thing I did myself is handle a sparkler, but usually I'm just a spectator of the big ones I see from a safe distance. For July 4th, I might be skipping out this year as I'm going to be working into the early part of July 4th.

My neighborhood usually does fireworks and we either watch from home or go outside to see them. :)

I dont know abt here. people are very different and has varied thinking and complain and criticize for all and everything.

I started not liking it just bcoz of others. dont know if it is right or wrong

I love watching them. we have some great local displays The local displays are done early so most times I can also watch the Boston pops on tv too and watch those fireworks too! :rainbow: :rainbow: :peace: :wave:

My dad and his brother shot off the big ones in the "night show" and the kids could shoot off the firecrackers and sparklers and other small stuff during the day. July 4th was almost as big as Christmas in our family. Now we go somewhere to watch a fireworks show.

Post by: debidoo on July 01, 2015, 03:15:52 pm: We usually do a lot of fireworks a combination of memorial and celebration of my husband's life and his birthday which is on July 3rd - he passed away two years ago and we do this every year combining it with July 4th. This year my sister-in-law was going to host but me and my sons are sick so I doubt we do much besides lay around the house moaning and groaning about how crappy we feel.

Yeah, we are...but I don't know about doing it big, cause the good fireworks are really expensive. So we're sticking to the cheap sparklers, rockets and fountains, lol...
