Yes, but sometimes you have to wonder who's evaluating the evaluators.

I never liked performance reviews....mine went great but those that brown-nose always know how to get top raises/promotions.  My performance reviews usually were not just a waste of time but also effort on my part, even though I believe in doing the best job I can.   Sooo happy I don't have to deal with all that b.s. anymore!!  :)

Mines are always OK with this job, never expect an excellent they do not give them to you.  But I had a job about 23 years ago that gave me a blank one, they said they had nothing to say to me, I was pregnant at the time about 12 weeks, and they also put me on "1 month Probation" I went on Maternity leave and came back and was still "On Probation" I think they wanted to get rid of me before the maternity leave, but I stayed there until after.  They actually hired my replacement and did not know what to do when I came back LOL.  I stayed 3 extra months just to give them hard time, then I quit.
