Title: All I Needed Was The Penny
Post by: betlynjua on July 14, 2015, 07:55:53 am
At the end of any given session, after I finish up with my 'work' here on Fusion Cash, I sit back and enjoy the fruits of my 'labor'.  I'm always pleased with my overall results because I know that it's what I have put into it.  My numbers reflect what I have been able to do.  Usually I log off and then pick it up the next day or so.

Once in a while, though, I look at my account balance and if I have the time, I will try to even out the amount of cents in my balance.  For instance, if I have a balance of $14.59, I will try a one penny offer to make my balance $14.60.  I don't always do this but I think it's fun to do at times.

Yesterday I needed one penny to balance out my account.  I tried a FC survey thinking I would be DQ'd and get my penny.

Well, I didn't get my penny.   ::) Instead I qualified, completed and was credited $2.40.   ;D  At that point I really didn't care if my account balance still had an odd cent value.  I was as happy as a clam with this survey and the other accomplishments of the day.

Thank you Fusion Cash.

Love this story ......  :) and I  Fusion Cash. it is one of the best sites of its kind and it continues to grow and improve.

I have clicked on surveys that I did not expect to qualify for but got a pleasant surprise when I did and got credit. This has happened to me, not just on FC, but other sites as well.

I am the same way. I love it though when a survey goes through and it surprises me with that extra chunk!

Thanks everyone.  Pleasant surprises seem to happen often here on this great site.

It's my hope that everyone experiences this joy.

Happy earnings to all.

What a nice surprise! Good Job!  Glad to see someone else likes to round out those balances too!

I usually do the same thing but I don't think I've ever qualified for a juicy survey that paid more than 30 cents.  I have to make another 3 cents today for that "even" number. :)

I do that!!  It just adds some fun and a few extra pennies every day.   You lucked out with that survey.   See it pays to "balance" you account.   Congrats.

enjoyed the story as well and will sometimes do that myself... and like you, I do find myself qualifying for something I didn't think I would

Hello there! That does sound like a great Idea. As a matter of fact I think I should try to do that as well. Those pennies add up at the end of the month. And obviously the turn out was good for you. You end up with a lot more then a penny. Congrats to you! That's one thing about Fusion cash they have good paying surveys. Which can make a big difference at the end of the month when its time to cash out.

Well now I thought I was the only one who tried to even out cent earnings.  I'm so happy to know that I'm in great company.

Thank you everybody.  Have a wonderful day and a better tomorrow.   ;D

I sometimes make an effort to even out my balance, but it does not always work. But if you only need a penny you can attempt a survey and if you do not qualify. you will be reward one cent. A penny for your thoughts.

Isn't if fun to qualify for a survey when you are not expecting that to happen!  I don't think I've ever looked at my total with the intent of evening out my pennies, but now that it's on my radar, I think it might be another fun twist to this site.  Any strategy that makes your earnings go up is a good thing.

I think it's just one of my quirky hobbies. lol Anyway, it makes what's a fun site to work even more fun.  At least that's how I feel.
By the way, yes, it is fun to qualify when I'm not expecting it.  I think I should try that more often; We'll call it, reverse psychology survey.   :silly:

What a wonderful story! :)  congrats, on getting credited for a high paying survey, when you were shooting for a penny!  I also like to end my sessions with a round number, or in increments of 5, ($15.55, $15.60, etc.) :glasses-nerdy:

Great story and I do the same thing, maybe just superstition. What I usually do is watch a penny video.

Last night after a referral my account was $6.66 so I hurried and got surveys to fix that. I can fully understand wanting to round things off. I'm OCD as well :-)

Yes, I know what you mean.  I have a little of that OCD or need to tidy things up myself.  I'm starting to come to grips with it.

Now if you will kindly excuse me, I have to go and straighten out the dish towel.  It's a little crooked and I can't stand it any more.  lol   :silly:

Just kidding.   :-\

Yeah, I usually go for the videos in this case as well.  For some reason, I gravitated to the surveys.  Go figure.

Anyhow, thanks and I'm glad to see that there are a bunch of members who do similar things with their account balances.

Thank you bertha.  Do you want to hear something ironic?  I requested my latest cash out which, by the way, was approved and is being processed.  Yaaaaay.

I thought the cent value was at 50 cents.  It turns out that upon my cash out request, one of the offers I had just completed a few minutes prior, credited to my account.  It was on a little bit of a delay.

So instead of 50 cents, it became 51 cents.   ::)

Oh well, I suppose I'll have to get over it.   :silly:

That is super funny! I find myself doing this as well and I love it because it pushes me to do a little bit more and I'm sure it has added up with all the times I have done this. The only time I can move on without trying to make it even is if I'm extremely tired or have something else I have to do. I'm glad you got the $2.40, that is great! Thanks for sharing.

lol thats a cute story, I never worry about the money, either I make it or I dont, I just move onto the next money making site for the day, I have a list of them, that way I remember to do something at all of them

I know what you mean! I like to have it so when I get the 2 cents for daily email it breaks even but seldom does! Oh well, what will be will be!

I thought that I was the only one that did that.  Sometimes it takes quite a while to get the last few cents.  I don't remember ever getting a good survey like that though.

Congratulations on the $2.40.  It never occurred to me to try to even up the money at the end of the day.  Good idea.

Well I know exactly what you mean, i try to do that too, today has not been my lucky day but I will try again later.  I have had some of those days too, trying to get the extra penny to even out and end up getting more than that, it feels good

Maybe I should start trying to get disqualified for the surveys, and then maybe I will actually qualify and get the whole thing! It sure worked out good for you, LOL!

That's exactly the mindset I have: start small, end up big.   ;D

Eventually you will qualify.  The side affect of that is that your earnings will increase.   :o

Oh well, it's a small price to pay I suppose.  ::)

Yes! I do that all the time. Sometimes it's hard to get a penny though. I do love to get a good paying survey instead!

Well you know, that just worked for me yesterday.  I wanted to try and add a few extra pennies to my cashout.  I figured I'd rather deal with survey dq than 10 steps of hypermx, dq is faster and not as boring!  Well the second on I qualified.  I thought "oh know this will go on a half hour and I will get dq and no penny"  but the info at the start said 10 min, didn't say what it would pay, but I figure what the heck.  I doubt it took 10 min and it paid $3.70.  I have never had a survey pay more than $1.25.  Of course now I fear it will be taken back because I can't believe they pay that much.  But we will see I guess!!

Yaaay, good job.  There are surveys that are quite short in duration and are much higher paying.  I've had many of them.  I know how you feel: 'This is probably too good to be true.'  As long as you are confident in your answers, you should get credit.  Congratulations.
